Song No.5 in the 2024 Acoustic Sessions. XTC are a band I really didn't want to attempt to cover, but love them so much I decided to give a song a bash. I recall doing this song, solo in bars, many years ago. I hope I'm better at it now.
Still getting to know my new video editor. It's coming together.

Nearly perfect! (The chorus drum fills are no exactly what Barry plays, and they are iconic, and you left out the "England's Glory" and "A striking beauty!" voices in the middle 8...) But very well-done, sir!

It's not meant to be an exact copy ... Apart from the fact I'm not a drummer and have limited skills, I just vibed the drums ... filmed and recorded live in 1 take. And it's Terry. As for the England's glory etc. ... I didnt feel the need to put it in ... I'm Scottish after all 😂 I'm glad you liked it though.
