FINALLY someone with the same reaction I had! I've seen too many reaction videos where people still didn't know what was going on after hearing the song! Like it takes them until Sephiroth is shown until they know who it is lol.
From what I've seen, older gamers tend to recognize him from the music alone. Younger gamers, unless they're on a JRPG centric channel, tend to need seeing him. Man, that makes me feel old...
@@XanderVJ I've seen several reactions of people in their 30s and older, and none of them recognized it by the song! I've never even played a Final Fantasy game (I own several, they're just in my backlog) but I even know that iconic song! Many of them were also confused by Sephiroth's final smash at the end lol
I gotta say, you reaction perfectly encapsulates why I love this character reveal so much. Sakurai and the animation team did not hold back on showing how crazy overpowered Sephiroth is.
I loved how she ran outta her chair screaming with joy. Max Dood & Yongyea's reactions were also priceless. I find it interesting how much they reference Advent CHildren here. The song that plays is "ADVENT: One Winged Angel" rather than the original "One Winged Angel". And the last lines about staying in Cloud's memory and Sephiroth refusing are also from the movie.
Mario dangling from the Masamune was one of the most gruesome looking shots I'd ever seen until it turned out he was fine. What a reveal though, LAWWWWWWD! ... 2:17 lol
