I may sound like a dick, but it's funny how you guys know Cloud in from Final Fantasy 7 that got into Smash Bros, but you've never seen his MAIN ENEMY. It's like not knowing Bowser but you know Mario, or you don't know Eggman but you know Sonic. Normally, if you've seen the hero of a game/franchise/movie, you must have seen their enemy/rival. And to all those who said "Ugh an anime sword fighter": One) He's not from an anime. And two) It's not using a sword that's bad, it's the user, don't blame it on the weapon.

I'm sorry. I have never played or had a real interaction with FF7 (the original) until last year and I just beat the game this year. Even I could've recognized Sephiroth's theme over a decade ago. Its surreal knowing there's people who don't recognize it on queue. Especially when the remake just came out this year.

I like the fact that many new gamers know Sephi from some other games like Kingdom Hearts or even the remake itself but it’s funny when they get all surprised by Clouds Ominislash version 5 (FF7 Advent Children) and Sephiroths Safer Sephiroth form (FF7 the Original game),
