Gotta be fair, these costumes were likely made and decided on long before the Melee situation came up, and Sakurai likely had nothing to do with the situation- it's Nintendo's legal team and maybe its higher-ups we need to be mad at, not its developers.

14:56 My favorite thing to do when playing as Sephiroth. Use the Gigaflare near the edge of the stage as your opponent is recovering. I also like to use it after using his final smash if I get lucky with the dizzy or sleep effect and after I break the opponent's shield. The Gigaflare is very useful. I played with Sephiroth for three weeks mastered him and defeated every single CPU fighter of the entire roster on lvl.9. P.S. Roy and Chrom were the hardest to defeat. I also like to use the octoslash.

It's important to remember that Sakurai doesn't own Smash. I think we can still be blown away by what Sakurai and the team have done and still be upset at Nintendo. Sakurai and the team are AMAZING! I'm always blown away by the thought and care he puts into each of these characters. They continue to outdo themselves with each new character.

After some testing, he ain't bad. Hard to get used to, but he messes up characters who have a hard time getting in, have a hard to getting off ledge, and floaties. Also, characters with slow recoveries because boy that Dair hitbox is huge. That said, i don't see his spread being amazing, so he's probably no higher than mid-high tier.
