Every Kerala (South of India) house in those days had a calendar of Nrehru and Kennedy together. Kerala was especially fond of Nehru and when Kennedy paid a State visit to India, it was festival time for India and more so for Kerala. I was a middle school student in those days. India was shocked on November 22, 1963! A little after (about 6 months) Nehru too passed away! I invite viewers to watch my video - Homage to Pandit Nehru by p g joseph - in youtube (23+ minutes).
Everything that I have read and heard about her behavior the day of the assassination tells me that she never stopped loving him. A Secret Service agent said that she rode all the way to the hospital crouched over JFK's body so that nobody would see the damage that had been done.
Quote by JACQUELINE LEE BOUVIER KENNEDY ~ "The first time you marry for love, the second for money, and the third for companionship." My, what a handsome and wonderful couple!!!
@@devaschloe I read the same - Jackie wanted a more modern dress and veil but gave in to the Kennedy expectations for a 'traditional' ballgown style and lace veil. She still looked lovely though.
By 1953, Joe and Rose had already lost three of their children: Rosemary, who was institutionalized after a botched lobotomy; Joe, Jr., killed in action; and Kathleen (Kick), who'd been killed in a plane crash. The tragedies had already begun.
@@kellyvaters1689 Have a listen to Patriot’s video with Negative 48 and Sabrina girl for lots of new mind blowing information. Powerful & very poignant surprises
I feel so sorry about their only son who actually lived JFK Jr. Could you imagine how sad he was when his father was murdered and his mother died years later.
My mom was born that year in 1953 and while she was a teenager, she adored Jackie... she influenced my mother's style and she would talk about her and that's why I'm an old soul, I loved everything vintage.
I can't imagine Jackie's life after the assassin. Having people constantly asking about the day her husband was shot only inches from her. It's not surprising she suffered from PTSD. After that who wouldn't? It's fortunate for her she passed when she did. I don't think she could've handled losing her son too.
I will always admire Jackie Kennedy she was such a strong woman. She didn’t care about campaigning around with him or the money at the end of the day she just wanted to support her husband and love her kids. She remained loyal with him even when he was tempted by the devil because in the end he would come home to his wife and kids and they would love each other. Then there’s having to bury her 2 kids and now her husband. May they rest peacefully.
Jacqueline was a true original. There was never anyone like her before and there never will be. Her style, grace, charm, personality, and mannerisms are studied and copied. Even to this day, being compared to her is the ultimate compliment.
The marriage to Ari Onassis, gave her the money for her pleasures! She could buy the fabulous clothes , big homes ( she owned 3 at her death). She traveled the world, spending much time in Paris, France! She traveled quite a bit, after she lost Ari Onassis in 1975. Caroline and John went to great prep schools and universities ( all paid for by Jacqueline)! I am impressed both her children earned Law Degrees!
I've only ever seen stills of their wedding pictures and looking at this Jacqueline "Jackie" sure had exquisite taste in knowing what looked good on her! That simple veil style is superb! She was able to leave it on throughout the activities and it didn't get in the way! Marvelous!
I'm sure Jack welcomed Jackie when she passed and that they both welcomed John, Jr when it was his time. I visited Arlington National Cemetery in 2000 and visited Jack and Jackie's burial site. I felt it was the most peaceful spot on this earth that I ever experienced.
I don't know why... but I kind of feel sorry for Jackie. Seems like everyone knew what is the gave to be played, and she just wanted to be in love, and loved.
Her husband didnt love her one bit. Ya' know that he locked her up in a mental assylum for a few months just because she questioned his infedelity?!?!!!. He know he couldnt get a divorce because of his catholic faith prihibiting from it. So he thought to himself,, hey if i throw her in some mental ward then ill beable to move on with my life with my lover(s)!!!!!! But at the very end, jackie had the loudest laugh, because her husband finnally got whacked and she was set free from jack's dog leash!!!
I was able too visit the great house, Hammersmith Farm, Newport RI. on a tour. What a great place for them to celebrate their wedding. This was a really cool video to see, Thanks
Catherine Wolf..... He was a wolf in sheeps clothing. He went to orgy parties with his brother. He made his 19 year old intern blow his whistle while his secret service watched. Then he told his intern to blow his SS detail so hell watch. The kennedy family are one sick and twwisted parisites. They are TWISTED.
*Before stillbirths, miscarriages, jacks very bad health, his back problems, before Nov 22 1963, Can't help think of John Jr seeing the 2 ppl who made him together in color..amazing footage... so many ppl are now gone in this vid 66 years ago*
September 12, 1953 to September 12, 2020. Jack and Jackie hope you are dancing to a beautiful song in heaven today to celebrate what would have been your 67th wedding anniversary. 💐💐💐
Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy was such a stunningly beautiful bride, and yet, despite all this, her husband was unwilling and or unable to be faithful to her. Also, despite the smiles for the camera, her heart was broken on her wedding day because her beloved father “Black Jack” Bouvier was banished from being there.
He was drunk the morning of the wedding (as everyone figured he would be). He was by that time an embarrassment to her family but she loved him and would have preferred to be given away by him.
This video leaves me in tears.how unexpected the life is .no one knows what's hidden in the destiny .still we indulge in petty quarrels, fights, grudges hideous things .life is short .Give love and peace
M. Arbabistocrat, Radiant shit?? You really need to do your research! Jackie always called her husband “Jack”. He was also called “Jack” by most of his family and friends
+Gus Lopez no, they weren't. I do recall at some point I believe in the Grey Gardens, Mrs. Beale does make reference to the wedding. I also saw or read(maybe it is on the Maysles' website), gee...I can't recall now or is in the documentary that the invitation to the wedding had been used as a grocery list or a note written on the back of it. I wish I could recall exactly but it has been a few years now. Perhaps it was with an interview I saw of the Maysles'
Quote by JACQUELINE LEE BOUVIER KENNEDY ~ "Now I think I should have known that he was magic all along. I did know it ~ but I should have guessed that it would be too much to ask to grow old with and see our children grow up together. So now, he is a legend when he would have preferred to be a man."
It Broke Jackie's Heart That Her Father "Black Jack" Bouvier Missed Her Wedding, Lee's (Jackie's Younger Sister) Husband Was Supposed To Go And Get Black Jack,But Ended Up Getting Him Drunk And He Was In No Condition To Partake in the Festivities.
Jacqueline Kennedy: A fascinating person who married a US Senator ( future US President) She married a Greek multimillionaire ( Aristotle Onassis) to flee the United States! The killing of Robert Kennedy made her want out of America since her husband and brother- in- law met early deaths! Jacqueline Onassis seemed happy after she lived on her own. She got 26 million from the Onassis estate and raised her kids by JFK! A lucky and stunning lady who lived a fantasy life. So much money, great schools ( both her kids graduated law school) and so much travel and high fashion! A one in a 50 million life story and so interesting!
Quote by JOHN FITZGERALD KENNEDY ~ "I'd known a lot of attractive women in my lifetime...but of them all there was only one I could have married ~ and I married her."
