Loving that Paper Oracle. Very tempted now. I don’t know a lot of decks but I did write down the hearth and home challenges with decks I’d like to own one day. That was fun for me to see what decks I really wanted.
Really enjoyed this! I paused sixteen gazillion times to go check out the decks. I was feeling a bit down and tapped out/depleted today, and bought the Wildflower deck as a cheerful pick-me-up. Love the Paper Oracle; I think you turned me on to his Ink Witch Tarot which I really like and wish he'd do a version with color. Have to think if I need another Lenormand deck as I'm so new to it and have a few. Love The Library of the Unwritten; you might want to check out The Starless Sea by Erin Morgenstern... I've been listening to The Starless Sea on Audible for the past month or so...I'm not sure how it is to read, but it's been amazing listening to it and being immersed in it that way.

I have heard it pronounced that way as well. I listened to tons of samples and there are about a half a dozen ways that people pronounce it. From my research, those seem to be the two most popular, although I don't think anyone really knows for sure what the actual pronunciation would have been way back then. 🙂 Thank you for watching! ❤️
@@DawnMichelleTarot One thing to note is that the original ancient pronunciation of the final e (eta) was like ai in the word air. It wasn’t until the early Christian period that eta changed to like ey in hey, as in the way you pronounced it in the video so it’s not wrong. In modern & medieval Greek, eta is now pronounced as ee like in meet and the first e in Hekate is no longer aspirated so it is now simply pronounced as Ekati. One other thing to note is that Greek is divided into Eastern (eg Athenian) & Western (eg Spartan) Greek. But ever since the rise of Athens to power, the Athenian dialect has dominated the language so while Eastern dialects pronounce it as Hekate, western dialects pronounced it as Hekata.
I actually quite like the "Celtic Cross spread" to represent the "Cross" card in Lenormand. What a cool way to interpret that! I personally have trouble with a very.... Christian-y cross for that card, so I'm always interested in seeing alternatives.
I really dig it too, although it hasn't come up in a reading yet for me. The entire deck takes a more witchy approach so it might work really well for you! 🙂 Thank you for watching! ❤️
I had to show Scorpio Sea the door. I really tried, but I couldn’t get along with it. I even tried reading the fiction book it’s supposed to be based on, but that kind of made it worse. If anyone has kindle unlimited and wants to check out The Akashic records book you can read for free with that.
I've heard some other people had similar experiences with the Scorpio Sea. I thought about getting the book, but decided against it because I've found a way that it works for me now and I feel like if I try to add that in at this point it'll disconnect for me.
