Hollywood makes a lot of decisions predicated on the notion that everyone in the world is an idiot, but there's almost nothing more insulting than when they try to pass off a movie as a sequel when it has literally no connection to its "predecessor" other than the fact that they are both movies. And that really grinds my gear (I only have one).

@@ObsessedwithZelda2 from what I know, there are some people who can flare up by smelling nuts, but I don’t think there’s many people who could die just from the smell. But considering the risks of Cross-contamination I do support the decision to ban peanuts all together to fully avoid the risk. But as someone with severe allergies, I do wish that allergies would be taken much more seriously and that there would be much better education about them.

One thing I will defend in the Kc2, When the female teacher claps and they all sit, that totally happens when kids fear the authority of a teacher. I helped at my step moms S.E. preschool class. She stepped aside to use the restroom so of course they all decided to act out to test me and my sign language skills heh. She walked into the room and did some rhyme they all knew and boom they're all sitting in a circle lol. I still know the sign language for "sit and listen or no playing on the orange slide" by heart, I had a little guy that didn't need sugar to act out haha.

The sugar thing is mostly a myth. I mean it’s not good for you, but they did a test once with sugar and fake sugar, turns out groups of kids with other kids and toys in a room are mostly naturally hyper under those conditions. And if they don’t think the grownup in the room has control will basically act like little brats, even normally well behaved kids. Also, my grandma ran a day care and there was basically a chant she had that instantly called all of us to attention. Can’t remember it, but she started it, we kids finished it and all sat down knowing playtime was over.

That scene where they were auctioning off a date with Dolph I’m 99% sure is direct copy of the scene from groundhogs day, like down to the choreography of the scene where the amount people would pay is going higher and higher until the main love interest comes in and gives way more than anyone else and the crowd parts for her as she walks in like wtf? Its also a family name, sort of a nickname he goes by. So maybe not his legal name on paper, but if that's what he has chosen to go by that's his name. I'm just not sure why Les Bru thinks that's funny, because it's really not that bizarre of a name.

People are completely right to be annoyed that movies too often cast old men with too young women. Some age differences are just WEIRD and it's fucking arrogant to think we all want to see young women our ages on film with old men. We deserve appropriate partners, not grandfather age weirdos.
