Yes a video on doing the subcrates..the way I do mine is when I use my ext. drive, theyre already in files..hip hop, jazz, pop..etc., so when I turn on serato I just drag them over like they are in my ext. drive..it looksso much more professional

how do i setup Serato not to stop/play tracks like a button but to emulate Vynil sound , in other words not to stop like a digital button but to do a slow scratch , and vice verse for play . It really annoys me i have the decks but it acts like a button
Hey guys is it possible to run serato dj with denon ds 1 in hid mode on cdi 2000 nexus ? as I'm not happy with the timecode cd as cz its too.... limited and can't dj at all . my computer and software stats are computer= mac md 101 softwere = serato dj 1.9.6 hardware = 1) pioneer ddi sx 2 2) cdi 2000 nexus , 900 mixer 3) denon ds 1 Also plz help me with a video link if any with denon ds 1 with hid mode cz almost all are with scratch live.Also when i try to down load the latest firm ware on pioneer website it show 1.10 or so but when i see the videos of 2015 they are like 4.33 can i know what wrong I'm doing plz.

Can someone please help me. Every time I drag a new song over either on deck 1 or 2 it automatically goes to max volume. Not on my controller itself but on the actual screen where right under (NOT ABOVE) the song title is. That little white ALMOST circle. It’s completely MAX every time I drag a song and I tried tweaking some settings and nothing changes.

What’s up I️ need help I have denon 37 and rane 62 when I️ play the bpm on serato won’t stay same place it keep moving slow fast slow fast. But the song is one bpm from start to end. Any help on why it dos that. And when I️ go into the set up the needle point showing bad signal like 5 %
Question: So does Serato NOT add cue points automatically like Mixed in Key software does? If so, what do you need to select to make that happen. I have a lot of music in my library and it will take forever to do it manually. If not, is Mixed in Key the BEST option for MAC users?
Hey nice video man!! I used serato a couple of years back and have just got it again.. I used to have my tracks listed in a thumbnail style, can you still do this as I can't seem to find an option for it?? Think I was using scratch live in the past but it's been replaced by serato dj now
+I am CORNHOLIOx yes that option is still available! Right above the crates there are four buttons. Click on the one to right that looks like two boxes with two lines next to them. Thank will enable that view mode!

Thanks for your posts. I'm having an issue when I build crates then close serato and when I re-open the crates some of the songs are orange. I have to keep finding the missing songs and re-adding them to the crate. I use an internal SSD drive on my mac and im fully aware of how to restore, just wondering why some songs just detach their locations like that. Any help you can provide i'd appreciate, thanks in advance.

Hey man I was wondering if there was a way to increase the volume in my headphones. The sound in my headphones is quite low but I don't know how to increase the volume. I have increased the volume on the controller to the maximum but it isn't very loud. I know that if I increase the gain it will increase the volume in my headphones. However, that also red lines the shit out of my decks. Is there a way to fix this? I am using Serato DJ Intro by the way. The tracks are also not listed with the bpm either so how do I fix this?
Anyone knows why the waveforms become smaller vertically when i connect my controller? I tried the plus and minus but its only changing the horizontal size. Thanks!
To access beat grids in scratch live you will have to have Ableton Live installed to enable the Ableton Bridge. This is the only way to access beat grids in scratch live.

ok will i make a crate with name of artist and then drag a folder into the crate and it does not make a sub crate . it just puts the songs of the folder i tried to drag into the crate
Pdot maybe you can help me, I have been having an issue with serato, When i have the same song on both decks for some reason the BPM is off, can you assist with this issue ?
When im using turntables and need to go over +/- 8% i just throw the deck in INT mode and pitch it as needed. Then switch it back to REL when loading the next song on that deck.
PDotTV why do you use so many is there not one record pool that has it all ? If not which one do you recommend ? I dabble in a little of everything hip hop reggae country house and reggaeton. I've just been having trouble deciding on which record pool to go with. I used heavy hits but they don't have everything I'm looking for
In Serato Live there was this setting where you can lock the songs key. So when you change the BPM it didn't sound like a chipmunk or low voice, how can I enable that on Serato DJ?
I have M Audio midi keyboard with many knobs. Can I link those knobs to software like Serato DJ, or Traktor, just for fun, maybe considering in future to bye some real Dj equipment ?
