I think ALL of the pups you use in your basses sound just great. They all sound like humbuckers, but give your guitars at least a slightly different sound than other brands. However I'm not sue if any are fatter or better than actual series humbuckers, because I liked the Thunderbuckers that you used also. I guess you may get more articulation, but can't you also get that w coil-tapped buckers? One thing you don't have w buckers is the annoying hum that you have w the SC's. Especially with high gain & single pup guitars...........

I really dig these pickups, killer tone. Couple questions if you don't mind - What is the string spacing requirement for these pickups? And how deeply are they routed in the body? I've got a project p-bass that I'd love to drop this pickup in but just wanted a little more detail about how extensively I would need to route. Thanks!

i listened intently to the B90 on headphones and in my car. it's up there with the very best classic bass pickups. quite the feat. will you be offering B90s separately? out of curiosity, what's the DCR? keep up the good work.

Aw man! If I had discovered these pickups sooner and found out they had Thunderbird mounting as an option, I would have installed them in my Thunderbird instead of going with active Bartolini pickups and electronics.
