I love to watch this channel more than Wimbledon 2021. I am hardly watching any match highlights. No Serena, No Wimbledon.

Remembering this was the next Slam after the Clijsters foot fault default, so to win was the perfect rebound. Also she was down a set and 4-0 in the QF against Azarenka!

azarenka was on fire that match. 2010 serena's movement was amazing. looked almost like 2002 out there.

According to Polish media and bookies, Ula Radwanska was a favourite in 1st round as Serena was expected to withdraw with injury. After the match Radwanski (father) told Ula did absolutely nothing and allowed Serena to stay still like a salt block.

This also basically the grand slam when Serena surpassed Margaret Court...in singles and doubles (real ones know, open era).

Same. Cuz I know Serena took that personally. That’s why the intensity rose and she ushered Henin off the court shortly thereafter.

Another example of the phony weak era argument, Serena beat Kvitova, Stosur, Azarenka, Li Na, Justine Henin

1999 US Open: beat Clijsters, Martinez, Seles, Davenport and Hingis in succession 2002 French Open: beat Pierce, Capriati and Venus 2002 Wimbledon: beat Mauresmo and Venus 2002 US Open: beat Davenport and Venus 2003 Australian Open: beat Clijsters and Venus 2003 Wimbledon: beat Capriati, Henin and Venus 2005 Australian Open: beat Mauresmo, Sharapova and Davenport 2007 Australian Open: Sharapova was the only GS champion she beat but she did beat 5 top 13 players in a row (Petrova, Jankovic, Peer, Vaidisova and Sharapova) 2008 US Open: beat Venus (+ Jankovic and Safina who were playing their best ever tennis in 2008) 2009 Australian Open: beat Azarenka and Kuznetsova (+ Dementieva and Safina) 2009 Wimbledon: beat Azarenka and Venus (+ that epic vs Dementieva) 2010 Australian Open: 5 GS winners as you mentioned 2010 Wimbledon: beat Sharapova, Li and Kvitova 2012 Australian Open: beat Kvitova and Azarenka 2012 US Open: beat Ivanovic and Azarenka 2013 French Open: beat Kuznetsova and Sharapova 2013 US Open: beat Stephens, Li and Azarenka 2014 US Open: beat Pennetta and Wozniacki (although to be fair this was a soft draw at the time) 2015 Australian Open: beat Muguruza and Sharapova 2015 French Open: beat Stephens and Azarenka 2015 Wimbledon: beat Venus, Maria, Azarenka and Muguruza 2016 Wimbledon: beat Kuznetsova and Kerber 2017 Australian Open: beat Venus in the final (the rest of her draw was pretty weak though) So, the weak era argument is incredibly stupid as she never won a Slam without having to face a GS champion/ eventual GS champion. She did have 2-3 softer draws, but even in those she had to beat at least 1 great player.
