Serena has the better and more stable backhand and her mental toughness is so much better, there is no comparison. Sharapova let someone beat her 20 times in a row; I can't think of a greater sign of mental weakness than that. She knew she was beaten every time she walked on court. Serena would never. Henin had Serena's number all of 2007 and in 2010 when Serena had her chance to beat her in a final and establish her superiority once and for all, she took it. Serena is just better at every single facet of the game.

No I disagree, maybe in their head to head but overall Sharapova tougher, Serena’s lost quite a few matches where she got upset, angry or half gave up. Maria never did, if she lost it was because she was simply outplayed. Maria’s issue beating Serena was predominantly a physical one - Serena is better at almost everything, it’s not to do with Sharapova having weak mentality. You need to learn to be rational and objective.

The only people who disagree are racist or ignorant. She has not only dominated and changed the sport, but she has had to overcome so much throughout her career. She had to work so hard to even be able to play at the pro level, but she has had to work harder than any other pro because she is a black woman. While she may not be able to physically beat a man in tennis, I definitely think she has had better dominance in tennis than any other man has, considering everything she has dealt with as well as all of her credentials. I love her!

Suddenly in January they released a substance list, some 30-40 page pdf that her team didn't read fully. She was not using any performance enhancing drugs to be clear. A substance that was suddenly made illegal by ATP without proper clarity or communication. She did her time without protest.
