And let's be honest - at Wimbledon 2019 she peaked in this match against Atawo and Martin. She wasn't able to reach this level again when she needed to against Simona (that and Simona played the match of her life). This was such a fun partnership and I know fans would love to see it again.

What we normally overlooked is both Andy and Serena are second child compared to their older siblings who got some success before they did. Of course in a different magnitude now and it's not a direct comparison, but they do have that in common and make them ultra ultra competitive. So yeh, Venus made Serena a better player. Jamie Murray (Andy's older brother who's got 7 double grand slams) also played a part in Andy's magnificent journey to the top.

I honestly hated that Serena/Andy partnership/collab bcs I think that was the reason why Serena did not win at the ladies final.

People who are commenting here, male and female players cannot be compared. And in no way a female player is better than a male player! See, ofcourse there is physical differences between the male and female players. Taking that into account, the male players having those physical advantages are competing with the players having same level of advantage. Still, being better players than their counterparts is what differentiates them. Same with female players. Now what makes Serena another level of player is her absolute domination over her female counterparts. Plus, her level sometimes reaching to that of male players irrespective of their obvious physical advantage over her. The physical difference is also why a male player can't win a grandslam being pregnant as she did. Taking all this, it is obvious that Serena is on the top of this game.
