Thank you for this. I just used my ruffler for the first time last night. I loved it....very easy....I had my Brother Serger for about 4 years and never took it out the bag until last night 😊
Wow what a neat foot! Ugh I have a singer serger, I’m not sure if they sell something like that for mine. Definitely going to check it out. I’ve been eyeing the brother serger for a while.
Yes! I would test the pants portion first so you can see how much it gathers and then adjust the needles depending on if it was too long or too short. Once you get it down you can attach it with the bodice and know that it's going to be the right length 😊 hope that makes sense!
It's trial and error! I would use test fabric. If piece 2 is 20 inches and you need it to be 10 inches then play with the settings until it comes out to the 10 inches
You could if you play with the settings! I would test it on the dress part and see how big it comes out then adjust it to better fit the bodice. Once you have it perfect you can attach it all in one go. Hope that makes sense!
Is it possible can you do one of an alley cat romper I’m struggling I think I have the same machines as you but I get so confused with my serger or sewing machine
Your the second person that talks about "doing the math" how do you do the math?? I have a 12" piece and want to attach to a 6" piece. Just bought a brother so I have the foot but how do I figure out the math???
