Brian your two videos on youtube about the series 65 just convinced me to buy the entire course. I have been using examFX but the exams have not gone well, excited to try your content. My exam is Tuesday!!

I thought there was no capital gains taxes paid on a primary residence after two years of occupancy?

Gains are exempt up to $250K for individual, $500k for a couple. Any amount over that is subject to capital gains.

After failing the Series 65 twice I bought Brian's on line class AND paid for private SKYPE tutoring with Brian. Greetings TestGeek Exam Prep, I have some doubts to take the prep, could you please help me with the following: 1. Is this true: Series 65 license authorizes licensees to sell virtually any type of individual security? 2. Does Bitcoin count as virtual security?

Hi, I am not from TestGeek but I would say that the series 65 license investment adviser law exam is meant for advising clients so I would guess you could give advice for any type of security. If you’re looking to actually effect transactions in a broker/dealer agent way then you would need additional licensing. Hope that helps!

Hi, is this testable on series66 as well? is solicitor always required to registered themselves as iar? when i read the textbook, it seems like it has requirement as to whether or not they have to be registered ester or not. thank you Brian!

I have not heard this question on the 66. Only the old question about gold coins in an IRA. Have you watched my video on solicitors? That should clear up that question!!
