I remember 2011 as a die hard grizz fan. I was at the game 3 and it was electric that day. Even when they lost, I was still proud of what they did. Too bad the spurs and injuries and bad drafting got in the way
I know there has been more epic playoff series in NBA history but this one for personal reasons was a exciting one to watch. Just felt the NBA had a bright future
Wonderful run Grizz, great time to be in the city. We went from just hoping they made the playoffs to mad they're not in the Western finals. What more can you ask for as a fan. Great to see the Grizz arrive as a top teir team. And yes, just imagine all without Rudy. Now I guess I'm pulling for Dallas, I'd like to see Dirk win one, I'm not even mad at OKC, Durant is a beast and a humble player.
@italianfinest99 no worries man you're not alone. that's what i thought as well. i think when gay return next season he needs to adjust his game for the team
who could have imagine that the memphis will have a longer season than the lakers? LOL and they just made a history by beating the number 1 seed and winning a single playoff game and winning a series. and force game 7 vs the OKC. Grizzlies is ma new team. tony allen saw the future!
damn who woulda thought.....the grizzlies first knock the daylight outta the spurs, then take the thunders to game 7. and all without rudy gay. man this team is for real.
@eaterofcandy ...your point? the Thunder blew a 13 point lead in the 4th quarter in game 3. two can play that game. coulda shoulda woulda been an easy 4-1 win for the Thunder.
Rudy was a ballhog? Yea right a ball hog would average more than 20 points a game! Bet none of these people saying Rudy was a hog EVER watched a Grizz game during the regular season!! Go GRIZZLIES!!!! next season got some BIG expectations!!
@Rjrussell93 first: i don´t care about likes at all and i never did... second: If a team isn´t hustling at all and the other is hustling for every lose ball and every rebound, than I would say the first team doesn´t wanna win as much as the second. Of course both teams want to win, but there is a difference...
