They say Series S is holding back this Gen, 😂😂 Yea right PS5 More Stable FPS in performance mode, but Series X is more stable in quality. PS5 struggles in Quality/Raytracing and mostly always 24/25 FPS. There is also A LOT of pop in for PS5, better on the Series S/X. Watch the horse riding side by side footage and notice the insane amount of pop-in for PS5.

The FPS counter you are using seems to produce lower numbers than other sites when frame pacing is poor. That said, in performance mode the Xbox Series X version seems to have a constant reduction in grass and dust.

Quality Mode is totally unnecessary imo...30 fps looks and feels terrible in motion. Performance Mode looks almost the same even in a still images, but looks much much better on motion and gameplay is very smooth especially with VRR On.

RT mode is better on xbox, but vegetation in perfomance better on ps5. I have both consoles, series x and ps5, and i'm going to play it on ps5. I dont want to miss out on the dualsense features, and i'll stick to 60fps.

I don't think your comparison of the resolution is correct, how did you measure it ? 1440p is the target resolution but it's supposed to be dynamic, you specify that it is constantly 1440 when it is not. You didn't indicate anything for the resolution, you just writed what was targeted by the developers without actually measuring it, it seems.

DRS. All people say different things about the resolution in RT mode on PS5/SX. 1200p, 1440p, 1180p, 1080p, even 1600p as a highpoint. However it's blurry but FSR 2.1 helps a bit.

Series X has it for ray tracing while ps5 is the clear winner in performance mode which nearly everyone will choose to play, who wants to play 30fps in 2022. Ray tracing sucks, there is hardly any difference. Definitely not enough to warrant experiencing the witcher 3 as a slide show

Yeah, no reason to play 30fps because it looks terrible on motion and picture quality even on a still image looks almost the same anyways compared to Performance Mode, but higher fps especially with VRR On makes a huge difference in gameplay. So much smoother.

series x has few resolution dips in perf but worse assets. both of them should have been a lot better ps5 version is just smudgy on my oled and i`ll wait to see if they bring a fidelity mode out

the ps5 has the capacity to maintain 30fps with ray tracing this is CD's laziness in doing a decent optimization. the witcher for pc came out all broken in the performance. I have fear of the cd becoming a new ubsoft.

dude, can you make a video about ps5 graass bug? you have it too, close filiage(grass) pop in on ps5. This issue still not fixed. I love WItcher 3, and I cannot calm down seeing it in such state. From 2.28 sec, slow down 0.25 percent speed and look at PS5 grass pop in, it happens all over, on Skillige and Tussaint it is the worst, also the the roads Past Novigrad city when riding towards DLC to meet Olgier it is insane pop in there. We have to make CDPR pay attention to it!

From 3.31 second to 3.32, the grass disappear on PS5, grass bug again, only PS5 suffer from it, only ps5 broken in immersion, it is such a big shame

4.44 to 4.45 PS5, grass popping in again, only on PS5. How do you guys able to play it on PS5 really? Exploration is just full of pop ins on ps5, sometimes happening every few seconds. Nothing can solve it, total reinstalation of software could not even solf it as I tried.

This video is biased period. I own the PC version and can run this game past max settings. Don't get me wrong I love Xbox, the 360 was king and still is in my opinion lol. But, the PS5 can't handle 1440p well and you have to jump through hoops to force 1440. I play my PS5 on an OLED tv and it has a fps counter which is locked at 30 fps in 4k and rarely dips to 29.5. It's dynamic to keep the fps up on the PS5 or so it says. I see videos like this all the time on here and I find it hilarious that people can be so gullible.

Wer spielt bitte im RTX Modus... die 2- 3 frames die XSX mehr hat liegt daran, daß auf der PS5 mehr Details Gras Partikel Weitsicht hat und im Performance Modus is die 5 auch besser.. bei der Xbox laden schattendetails nach und und und... auf dem Papier is die Xbox besser ja das stimmt, aber in echt sieht das anders aus.. fanboys müssten verboten werden... und kauft euch nen ordentlichen TV, sonst lohnt sich ne PS5 und Xbox SX nicht 🙂

Basically the poster will find the biggest drop on PS5 in RT mode (which it doesn’t like for this game for some reason) use that as a thumbnail and make it look bad whilst the series S looks like a smooth 30fps whilst having no RT mode at all. It’s all laughable but that’s how he gets his hits. I have a PS5 and it’s a fine machine, the haptics are great and PSVR2 next year will be awesome as will the up and coming titles. The series X is a great machine too, the Series S is perfectly ok if a little underwhelming compared to the other two.

Although i've been playing the new witcher 3 next gen upgrade on XSX for like 2 days, and i genuinely didn't notice nor feel any frames dip on both raytracing and performance modes, i'm not sure about the thing that keeps my frames stable like that, perhaps the VRR ?.

The only thing that's missing is the power consumption during the gameplay, Series S is going to be a huge winner in that regard, the console is a beast and there's barely any difference between the 4k and 1080p, ray tracing is nice but it's not worth the extra load on the machine.

Todos manteram o mesmo framerate em 4k 60fps. O hardware dos consoles são idênticos, isso se chama preguiça de desenvolvedora em otimizar um jogo pra uma plataforma x ou y. Peguei a versão de pc uma 3070 ta tendo problema pra rodar esse game, isso é preguiça mesmo n tem outro argumento. E entre xbox e Playstation eu fico com Playstation, se for pra comprar um xbox melhor comprar um pc. Extremamente mais jogo.
