I played SS 2 in ps2, it was a very funny game and coperative was excelent. But that game was only in english, german and french and when i was kid i didnt understand a shit.
@@Korninator1989 I've heard that it's mainly because SS2 is now no longer considered canon. They want to make a new SS2 that is more like the games we have now. SS2 was too cartoony compared to TFE & TSE. In other words, I don't think the story will be continued from SS2, but rather from TSE again.
Yeah, i had fun with it, can't understand why people complain. Ok, i'm aware about some bugs and SS4 not being optimized at all and shit, but bossfights are decent, weapons have cool designs, enemies too. It's an enjoyable game. I have seen WAY shittier games.
Idk why people complain. I think Croteam delivered much more with SS4 than they did with SS3:BFE. Much larger areas, duel wielding any combo of weapons you want, colors are brought back & don't look so washed out and drab like it did in SS3:BFE. Great soundtrack for when it's calm, better weapon designs, better enemy designs.
People dont like 4 because of the graphics and story/jokes. They seem similar if not worse to the third game and it just feels a bit underwhelming after the wait. The gameplays alright but its no huge improvement. The game also has bad AI that gets stuck in places, runs poorly even on current gen cards, and has other numerous bugs and issues that just hamper the experience
The story's always been to kill big daddy Mental but we kill one of his large generals instead. All Serious Sam games always had jokes around every corner of every level. Especially SS2 which I highly recommend for multiplayer. - They also probably didn't bother with smarter AI because of their investment on much larger scale levels but does that ever excuse having dumb AI on smaller levels? No. Dying Light: The Following did much better because they kept the world large and open while spawning in enemies with smart AI intact, that are only in the player's area. They could've at least given alternative AI for the enemies on smaller levels. - As for bugs, all games have bugs, even Skyrim had bugs and still does have bugs like the bandits Naruto-dodging your arrows. Other than that, SS4 being poorly optimized is an understatement. They went on to work on a project that their entire engine couldn't handle or that the devs handled it in a way that the engine clearly didn't like.
@@muffinman2546 Im not denying the SS games have jokes about every other minute, but the jokes here don't really do it for me, whereas the ones in previous games at the very least get a small chuckle and at the best they get a pretty good laugh out of me. I don't really know if it's just the way they tried to put jokes in with the story or if they just...don't mesh with my sense of humor or they really don't work no matter what. I couldn't tell you. I don't usually have a problem with bad AI if the game is still fun, but it happens so frequently here to the point where I can't help but see how bad it is. Since the SS games are all about nonstop fighting AI opponents, it rears it's in the players face a lot more often than say, CP2077, which has bad AI sure, but it's not a horde shooter. There's quite a bit of non-combat time between the fights. Again I don't usually mind bugs that much, but when the game has all these other issues it just compounds the effect of "we waited all those years for this?"
2:11 I forgot how this game used to scare me tho it's not really focused horror type games like dead space and other but man it get something else when they overrun u in a corner with no ammo 😅🐇
Oh my god they kept the most iconic soundtrack 😭😭❤️❤️❤️ the Grand Cathedral. I might sound weird but even now I listen to this music before going to sleep. It was a huge surprise to find that sound track in my country's one music app. Gosh love it so much
The part of the mission where you're in a huge field full of thousands of soldiers is one of those gaming moments where you're like "ohh yeah this is fucking sick!"
That soundtrack, the nostalgia is insane. I miss these days when games were made Just to entertein players, no one cared about faminism, rasism or shit like. Games were Just different.

lmao I actually skipped the part at 22:10 you can actually kill Brand with the sniper and grab the staff didnt know what I was supposed to do on this part
This is nice. I've only played SS1 starting in year 2000 & in 20 years, it's gotten more realistic-looking. I'd love to play in 3d virtual reality goggles in the future.
@JOSEPH MCNALLY nah, bfe was kinda boring compared to the Grand Cathedral. Only the bossfight was really cool compared to the dumb one from the Grand Cathedral.
At least the like sixteen minutes of traveling in a straight line through an empty nearly-flat valley is worth it when you finally get to the actual front lines.
I've never played this game or even knew it existed until RU-vid recommended this video to me yet I was so invested to see how it ended and watched the whole thing lol
@@iam2m I did, day one.... Game runs like horseshit on RTX cards. Furthermore AI is braindead (I lost a count how much enemies would get stuck between walls etc.). Textures are fucked and bug count is all time high.
I use the exact same strat like roundin them up and then picking them off one by one croteam actually did a good job with this game bro also Badass VIDEO
Sure now this is my favorite game from SS franchise. No matter how many bugs you find, the combat is still fun as it was 20 years ago, sure the legends never go to retire. And the concept of having the whole team spreading bullets around you actually comes in handy. But how start to play BFE now? Without all the Triple-A team? Brought me tears to my eyes. I need to kill someone now.
oh!!such a treasure!I remember playin one of first games on pc..totally was shocked "wtf" how many enemies like tsunami were attacking me..bruh!))but it was so cool to blow them all))
This^ Literally every video of these last levels I watched no one used it. The bit where you have to clear the front line I did pretty much straight away using the death ray, it's an ungodly powerful weapon mode. But you have to use it sparingly as it chews through ammo like no tomorrow.
The entire franchise has been about parodying other popular FPS games. It was also made by an indie company in Croatia on pocket change (SS3's development budget was around 500k).
Thank you for your content. You inspire me to make my own video. Few days ago I played the same game, even made a video on my channel. A video for 3 hours was released))) Good luck to you in your business)
