Other than my Dad grew up on a farm, I’m a born n bred city girl, too! I love watching these guys and Graham Parker @ The Hoof GP. I never knew that cows and bulls needed hoof trims Fascinating!

They can re -- sharpen the knives too. Another trimmer I've seen says he sharpens his knives every day. That hard hoof is really HARD.

He probably uses a small, fine, metal file. I use a file on my hatchet, and it will slice a piece of paper in half when I'm done.

Hey Guys I enjoy your videos and I love the way you wash the cows hoof off with water before you start. It probably doesn't matter to you but us at home like it a lot more than the other guys whodunit wash it. I also was thinking that if you had an electric knife small and controllable it might get the cows out sooner. I think you would make a lot of money modernizing those tools because someone some day will?

I just happened to reach for the Goldfish crackers just as I started this video. Not a great choice. Sometimes it doesn't bug me though. If you don't have that brand where you're from, I'm so sorry. They're small cheddar-flavored crackers shaped like fish and they're to die for.
