LEDs 100%, the more light the better. Especially a light bar on the ROPS as the lights on the arm are usually inadequate

Great entertainment as always, LED lights are the best way to go. So much less drain on the charging system.

LED's all the way... 2 or 4 on the boom, 3 or 4 as a light bar on the roll cage, depends what size between the uprights

Go led lights, if you’re digging after dark you can never have enough light, particularly if you’re working around any buried services like power or natural gas etc

Hey Muck, I've been using a scrap glow plug to heat stubborn nuts. Good hack if you are stranded. Go LED. Cheers Jim in NZ.

upgrade the work-lights to LED , maybe add worklights to the ROPS bar .. but beware , adding a lightbar is a slippery slope that will end with a chrome stack .. lol

If it were mine I’d up grade to led for way better lighting put some smaller pods up on the rollbar to see in front as well as your swing area both sides great video thank you

LED upgrade for sure, no-one wants to be faffing around with halogen bulbs anymore. And by the time you've stripped a light down to change a bulb, there's hardly any more work to just replacing the whole thing anyway.

If it's going to be working at night put as many lights as you can get on it. If not,don't do much with the lighting.(less for somebody to smash off)

That thing is almost as cute as a Komatsu PC01. So tiny they look like they belong in a sandbox. I’m surprised it was a 3 banger. I was fully expecting to see a 2 cylinder.

Add the lights, then you won't need them, otherwise the first project undertaken will carry on past dark, & not sufficient lightning available. 🤔

I’d put some LED lights on. Perhaps something designed as a replacement for an old land cruiser, patrol etc. Then you could have low and high beam so you don’t blind your workmates when they are nearby

Mucker go all out and light the whole cab and boom like a Christmas tree! Install a loud sound system and put a glitter ball for shits and giggles and dig that party vibe!

Personally I'd be sticking some floodlights off a John Deere forwarder on that little kubota, those buggers would light up half the county 🤣

I'd definitely upgrade the lighting, if you have to replace them it makes sense to use brighter, more durable and waaay more efficient LEDs..

My "new to me" K008-3 and also the 1st machine I've ever bought is being delivered in a weeks time so you've a dedicated series follower here! If you do decided to install LED's (lets be honest, you've probably installed them already by now 😂) please, please show the in detail how you install them 🙏

An LED upgrade is a good option for the little Kubota. Instead of mounting the lights on top of the ROPS, a’ll wouth mount them on the bracket in front of the joysticks.

O would absolutely change to LED, and with a wider spread reflector, at least on the bar. Two on the bar and one each side of the boom😊that should do the trick. Personally i like a "cold" light. But hey, it's your choice 🙂 best regards

For a machine that size I'd stick with standard. They normally work in confined spaces and get mullered.

Personally I'd trawl through my old, odd undamgedish land ro er spot lights for something that would fit, ish. In your position, and for our education, led all the way. 👍

More LED's than George can fit on a Fastrack 🤯 infact, more Lumens than you had on the Christmas tractor run! 😎

Good video, and excellent work. Kubota are good machines and if looked after last a long time. I find the same with my little Takuchi lovely well made machine and the genuine parts are always available at the dealers. As for lights , I find the roof mounted lights very good but the one on the boom is handy but can get caught on occasions. Led one are very bright and use less current. All the best .
