Hi, answers: 1- Yes, with Pioneer there is no setup possible inside the Pioneer, it is all done "per channel" with the usual reverse, sub trim and end point settings. With Core you can set a single "Function" (Aileron?) and apply it to 2 servos (both servos on right wing?) so once you make the individual settings with the above, you can simply set the Expo and Rates within the Aileron function, and will apply to all. 2- Yes, set one and match second. As long as mechanically they are good to start with the difference is inapreciable, especially in flight Hope this helps!

FrSky are as far as I know, non compatible. At least it is not included in the specs... It will depend if Frsky use the same BUS language as any of the supported systems (such as the relatively common Futaba or Jeti/Multiplex languages)

Pickering RC I have seen videos on RU-vid showing frsky works with powerbox, and I know some pilots use them together in Germany but very little info is out there could you maybe do a related video please !?

@@jameshaladus9165 i assume he doesnt use FRsky. he's not going to buy a whole new tx and rx system just to make a video for you. as far as I'm concerned, they are different bus systems and powerrbox only works with what it says its compatible with. read the manual or something? couldn't tell you what it actually is but I assume it wont work.

When running a single servo per surface, there is no need to make any adjustments at all within the Mercury for end points, you can do it just the same as if using a standard receiver. With regards to the gyro, this is unaffected by the dual rate that you are in and will always work the same, just note that the gyro is "limited" in travel to the maximum deflection input since turned on. In other words, if you waggle the sticks in the highest dual rate before takeoff, the gyro will have up to full travel available to it for corrections. If you did the same with lowest dual rate, then that would be the highest travel available to it, until at some point in the flight you used a higher rate, at which time the "maximum travel for gyro" is updated.

@@MartinPickering-PickeringRC Thanks for the response. Since it won't cause any gyro issues, I guess I'll reset the channels I've already done that way in the Mercury and do it all in the radio as the less programming in between the radio and the plane, the better IMO.

It would be the exact procedure explained in the video. Set one servo at the radio, and match the second one following the steps above =)

so if I set the inboard servo for max EPA from my transmitter?...and match the 2nd one to this?...i'm getting only 35 degree max aileron deflection on my new pilot rc 100cc.....

S Khalid that process is correct. The max deflection will depend on the servo geometry, make sure to max out the first servo and then just match the first one.

Hi, there are three points that can be matched. -100% 0% +100%. It should not be necessary to add more points as if center and maximum are correctly set it should follow correctly throughout

You can set up any servo as the "first servo". The important part is that the rest of the servos then match it correctly. When I say set up the first servo, I just mean as normal using sub-trim and end points. Hope this helps!

but how do I know which channel on the transmitter to adjust? By this i mean if i have a servo lead plugged into A on the powerbox, what channel do i adjust in the transmitter, because it doesn't have A like the powerbox?

You need either the BlueCom adapter (to update via bluetooth from your phone) or the USB adapter (to update via your computer). Just plug it into the appropriate slot, and open the Powerbox Terminal program, and choose your device.

Definitely the easiest option! Just plug in and use your smartphone!
