Such a cool tutorial, I really like the advice of only building what you need. I need to take that into consideration sometimes. I have a fair amount of pieces so I get carried away with building, and I wonder where my time went!😂😂😂

This was a great video! I really like your point that we only need to build what the camera sees - words to live by! That's how big film producers save a lot of money! I also likt what you said about lights - light is SO important for every kind of filming! I looove that you've used tan bricks to make the computer in the nurses station - that's great! Great tutorial and very well explained! Thanks for sharing this and keep up the great work :-)

I have a few questions 1 Should I use a tablet? Or a small camera 2 if you don’t have that many legos where can you get backgrounds?
@AOA9871
@AOA9871 4 года назад
I know this is late, but you can use felt sheets as backgrounds. Alternatively, you can use light colored construction paper. If you want a detailed background, you can print out a large background image.

Tips on stop motion? Yes just start filming with what you have! Work in basics like the walk cycle, car movements, lighting... there’s always something to practice! And have fun! 👍

ElXicoConCapuxa that set was actually one of the last ones I made for the hospital. It’s pretty empty and sparse, leaving it wide open for situations. I’m still adding to it as situations require. I’m also not very happy with it lol.

Someone once told me that if I needed an idea for a story, to "write what I know." Among other things, doing that will help me be a) clear, b) reflective, and c) honest. Since I'm a nurse, I started making medical videos... I enjoyed it so much that I just kept doing it! :-)
