I plan to in the future once I have enough experience with my kit and get it all the pouches set exactly how I want them. I find that I set it up to look cool and then find that I need to alter it to make it more functional.
This looks like it could really work out well! I have been struggling to find an effective method of making all my head gear come together, and I will defiantly give this a shot! Nice videos, earned a sub!
This is one late @$$ comment but im gonna say it anyway lol we all used to do that crap to are older bros, its worth it for how much of their s**t we have to put up with lol😂🤣
@Jesse The Sweeper No he doesnt : ( I think he would like to go but I am not for certain. If he did go though I would need to get him a kit to start with
Get weather tech anti fog stuff. It works well with windshield's, mirrors, and glasses. Will not fog for nothing works great. Take a hot shower the steam won't fog the mirror at all.
You never really gave a detailed view of the back of your helmet. How do you keep your goggles on the helmet? Do you use goggle lanyards, velcro, ARC rail attachments, or is it just tension? I can never get my goggles to stay on my helmet when I have them up. They just pop off.
Also, that balaclava should prevent bbs going through the mesh mask and into your teeth, as the balaclava covers the mesh, effectively making it a lot more secure.
The BBs chip, not the mask. As the bbs chip, they go through the mesh mask, and possibly make you have to go to the dentist. However, that balaclava covers up the holes.
Yeah the helmet + mesh mask + goggles combo gets pretty complicated. Ear pro is a new one though, all the fields up here are literally fields with features or just woods. I think there is one new CQB field, but I haven't been to it. I would just use a baseball cap if ear pro was required. Its also much easier to snipe while just using a baseball cap. Can squeeze face up to cheekpad more easily and shields the scope lens from the sun.
At SC Viper, the ear pro has to be hard, so hats wouldn't be aloud even if you could cover your ears with them. Hats are considered soft pro but with hats I still just wear sordins to cover my ears. Oh yeah definitely. I dont snipe at the field as it is not built for much long range firefights. The helmet works great for me but its honestly just for looks and the tactical feel it give me.
Yeah we don't really need ear pro for the ranges we play here. My helmet has actually been really useful for sliding from a sprint into walls. Have hit my head a few times with the helmet on, didn't feel a thing. Definitely worth the buy.
+TheStoopsMan thanks for the video, this is the setup I have decided to use due to troubles I had fitting the mask to my goggles. This video helped a lot!!!
As a dude who has spent a lot of time running around irl with gubment supplied ESS goggles, I would say don't buy them for the msrp. Not at all worth it. Idk, maybe airsoft is a lot different than actually running around with those damn things in training and combat, but they suck balls in my esteemed personal opinion, and that was when they were handed out for free all over the place.
Which model ess is that? I got striker land ops to fit over my glasses. But mine don't have the side clips, those look very nice. I thought the land ops was the only ess goggle that fit over glasses. They look totally different.
can you make a video of how you did it? because I have not alterd any gear before so Im not too sure what Im doing, I want to do your style with the strapless bottom, but I have a black and white bottom half and I dont want to screw up my measurements.
The yellow or orange colored lenses are supposed to increase contrast visibillity, so you can see some things slightly sharper. The effect is minimal but it works. An example is how it makes a camo pattern better visible against a fitting background, so you can see your oponent better.
i used to work for a surplus store a and the owner sold those ess goggles used for $15 each... idk where your getting $60 from because that's ridiculous
I've been using your set up for about 2 years now, *Thank you* and I recently just got prescribed glasses. Whenever I'm on the field, my glasses fogs up from my body heat and from me sweating. Is there any way to stop your glasses from fogging? My goggles don't fog up at all but it's just my glasses ;(
I have been trying to make a one piece set up and have the one Tigris mesh mask, low pro goggles, a bump helm, a fishing neck coverand an old cut up turtle beach headset any ideas cause I was just going to use tape and hot glue Details that may help The mask has no straps and i modded it to my helmet clips And I cut just the ear cups off the headset
Hey stoops I've been trying to get this set up for a while and all I need is the mesh yours is more while others that I look at are longer and bulky if you don't mind helping me find your exact one pref in tan ? Please help!?!?!
Is there any way to easily set up the ear protection that amplifies sound? Mine have plastic for support so I took it out so it fit, but now they aren't supported. Any way to set these up on a PJ fast helmet?
Hey Stoops, I am considering selling ALL of my stuff to get a polarstar kit and a TM glock, would you recommend that? I currently have a WE scar L, a KWA lm4, KWA Mp7, and a we g18c. Hopefully I would sell them all for around 1000 or so. Thoughts? Thanks man, love your vids! -Dom
oh boy, well WE SCARs are tough to sell as they are known to break, KWA stuff should sell fine. But thay is a lot of stuff just to build a polarstar. They are awesome units though, I can not wait to own one in the future.
What would you recommend for a new player under 18? Would it be safe to go lower face mesh, goggles, and helmet, or just a full face mask with goggles?
