Yep...I suspected the Baked Textures were going to be awesome and jumped on the pre-order right away. Not something I normally do, Kim - but this was TOO good to wait on. Emerald Creek is working like crazy to get new inventory distributed as fast as they can...everybody will have a chance to grab 'em soon, my friend. xox

Wow, just watched your DIY metallic cardstock video and came straight to the new embossing powders that you just showed. Love them too. I preordered in December also but still need to try them. But at least I now have a direction to go in combining these to videos for my *SteamPunk. Thanks for making these two videos. Off to watch more of your videos.

Molten lava comes to mind? What a yummylicious mix! It's early still so brain not yet properly engaged (well, relatively speaking of course. Let's not get carried away.) Absolutely lush tag. These are ALL on my pre-order list. However I think it might be some time before I can actually purchase every one. Tyfs as now I know which to go for first. Thought they'd be a bit like Susan Lenart iced enamel. Much more chunky though & well, different in many ways. Be interesting to mix the 2 perhaps. Now I'm merely thinking out loud. Lol. Thank you so much for the kindness - and for subscribing, @ The Quiet Midden. I honestly do not know whether or not the glycerine is acid-free. I will discolor light colored paper or cardstock. But, if you use it for embossing, that will be hidden.

I tried it with the glycerin, oops think I put too much on, way really oily after I heated it up, Is that normal. Leave it to me to mess it up.

Uh oh! Hey, Kelly! You didn't mess up, girl...Glycerine is sticky stuff...a little goes a LONG way. Maybe try adding a top coat of Spray Sealer or Triple Thick Gloss Glaze? - they can help 'hide our crimes' ! xoxo

it got messy, so the trash got some beauty added to it again, I think my baked textures are wet, I am letting them dry out over paper for a couple of days, then try it again, I was reading some stuff, not always, but sometimes they can get wet, and if they do, just lay them out over paper to dry out and try again. This is the first time I used it since I got it, was tucked away in my I WANT TO DRAWER, lol..I will test them out with versafine ink embosser first, then if that works, I will try a wee tiny tiny amount of the glycerin, which works great on dry feet too, I bought it off you link suggestion, and saw it was for skin too, so, the body gets some glycerin too,, and yes a little goes along way there too. Thank Heather, have a wonderful Labor day weekend, I know you are making some new stuff, been watching you
