Hey, I implemented your techniques for lateral raises and rear delts and it has made a world of difference. Combined with frequency, my delts are developing better than any other point in my lifting life.
Keep up the good work. Since i ran in to your RU-vid channel my day in the gym is never thesame again and my gains is out of this world. Thank you so much for your invaluable knowledge you share with the world.
I’ve been doing them straight legged/armed because a lot of videos I’ve watched about shrugs recommended it. No wonder I wasn’t getting any pump or real growth! Gonna try this method in my workout today. Thanks!
I just watched this video last night because I had traps tonight. I used to have a tough time feeling my traps... not anymore! And I had a crazy nasty pump on in my traps today. Big thanks Seth, you the man!
This just may change everything for me, never felt proper trap activation with shrugs, now I can see why. So amped I am going to do these right now as if I never lifted in my life.
Thank you so much for this video. I have found a huge difference in doing what you demonstrated. Watching your other videos and really enjoying the content, man. Thanks again🏋🏻♂️💪🏼!
Thanks bro!! I ran across this vid by faith I guess. I tried the movement you stated and even without weight I feel them firing. I’m used to doing them the way you illustrated most people do and even though I use up to 110’s I don’t get the pump I should. I will definitely be doing it this way. Thanks 👍🏾
Oh man... I've been going a little too light to make sure I have this perfect form, but my arms do always want to step in, so I really have to over focus on that form... I bet a little more weight to let my arms hang better will be the perfect balance... You're awesome. Thanks. At least I've nailed down the form, now the extra weight will take me that extra step... Pros really do have the best little secrets that make a world of difference.
Great tip. I’m a beginner and I’m glad I stumbled onto this instead of going a long time with the classic straight shrug. Before I couldn’t really engage the traps and it felt like I was building nothing.
Great video bending elbows definitely increases pump. A lot of people like myself assume you shrug straight up but once I realized I needed to shrug up & back my traps started growing
Great vid. I never really got a good burn in my traps until I stared using your technique.....now my traps are always sore as shit the day after. Have to admit it feels pretty awesome. Your vids are definitely motivating
Nice bro i like your body so much all thr best. i just started body building one month before just following your instruction and it really works thanks
Finally, I started doing my shrugs like this awhile ago once I learned more of how the traps are shaped but most videos just show the generic way to shrug db or bb. Thanks!
Incredible channel Seth ! Been watching your videos and Lui interview all night . Incredible information . love the openness, passion and honesty you have man . I have a very large passion for the sport myself and will be incorporating all this in my routine and using it all to my advantage .. Kill it man and good luck with all upcoming!
Seth, I love your way of explaining tips, moreover I like your typical New York accent. I just love it. Whenever I listen to you, I feel I am in New York. Thanks bro you the best. Prem India.
I been upping the weight. Also a three second pause at the top. It's working for me. Love the bent elbow, I've been trying to focus on that. As with most things lifting related I've got a lot to learn.
I experimented with the dumbbell shrugs a few years ago and wound up doing them like how Seth said and it worked for me. People would ask me why I did them like that but it just felt good. I just saw this and I've been doing them correctly after all. I call them TSA's since it feels like carrying luggage, lol.
