imagine all the talented people like him that never got a chance. imagine if he never had his chance. we would've never had the best punisher. hell, even shane. great actor.
+TheSchoolOfPotatoes Right.. his voice doesn't sound deep at all in this video (sounds pretty average actually, lol), but as Punisher in Daredevil or Shane in The Walking Dead, he was using completely different and deep voice&accent, which is really likeable and cool af. He does a great job changing his voice and accent!
Tbh that says a lot about Seth Green. To give a guy who he thought to be homeless, expecting nothing in return, some tickets to a concert to make that person's day.... Whole new level of respect for him man.
Yeah dude, Seth has always seemed to be a cool guy even in off-camera happenings. Bernthal's story was just a perfect illustration of that. That's why I'd like to meet both of those guys some day.
His personality shocked me. I've never seen an interview with him before. Only his roles in TWD and Daredevil. What a great actor, and he seems like a really good dude too.
+Brandon Man you havent watched fury yet?? i Didn't know who he was until i saw him nailing his part in that movie...this dude is one of the greatest method actor out there!!! you should definitely watch it
+Taylor Giavasis Louie CK is the best story teller ever....him and Bill Burr....Both red heads coincidentally....and Conan too...now that I think about it...the Illuminutty!!!!!
That's Frank Castle/The Punisher. I don't care what anyone else says. Seriously tho. One of the best performances I've ever seen on screen. Phenomenal.
+Umeer Cheema in TWD Shane is crazy like Frank, but he doesn't have Frank's code. He shoots a fat man in the leg to sacrifice the guy to the walkers so he can escape. He does nothing that doesn't benefit himself, even if it looks like he's helping others it's mainly to help himself. He tried to rape his supposed best friends wife and then he tried to kill his friend. Kinda like "Scumbag Frank". Despite being a very unlikable character in TWD Jon was amazing in the role. He was also very good in Fury and he was in the first two episodes of the HBO miniseries The Pacific. Most recently he's provided the voice of Trigon in the DCAU movie Justice League vs Teen Titans.
Though you could say the roles he's been cast to have been quite similar to eachother, I love how he acts and sounds nothing like any of them off screen.
It's funny how doing "not good" usually means not knowing when your next meal would be or having 5 bucks in your pocket, but for some, it just means not affording concert tickets lol...just a thought :D
I met Shane at a COMIC Con in Cincinnati,I shook his head and told him HE WAS GORGEOUS AND AN AWESOME ACTOR,I also TOLD him TWD lucky I.LOVE the show so much or I'd STOP WATCHING after they KILLED HIM OFF! He's SO FINE and SWEET in person!!!
It just goes to show how good of an actor this guy is that his real personality is more like a skaterboy than the Punisher yet he plays Frank Castle sooooo well
Jon is so chill I saw him at the philly comic con and he answered every question at the walking dead panel so politely and I think he is a fantastic punisher great job on the success Jon and God bless on a healthy future career!
Love it when the Punisher shut down DD on the roof top. DD couldn't say anything about the life experience the Punisher went through, it seem so real and raw. He was Shane on steroid.
I actually liked the graveyard scene better because after DD saved him Frank was more open and less combative. Seeing a tough guy character open up like that was amazing. Charlie even did some crying haha. GREAT scenes, both of them.
I'm really shocked to find he doesn't have a southern accent. Everything I've seen him in he had an accent, so I just assumed that was his natural voice lol.
Lol @ Seth Green thinking Jon Bernthal was homeless. It's interesting though because despite the working class vibe he likes to give off, Bernthal is from a LOT of wealth. He went to the same boarding school as Obama's kids. The best Punisher is also the most upper class, lol.
Th is shows how great of an actor he is....every character he plays is so gritty and dark...and then he is himself and he is like a sun beam of joy and happiness
FYI, when he mentions doing a small indie movie with Macaulay Culkin’s girlfriend, the girlfriend is Mila Kunis and the movie is ‘Tony n Tina’s Wedding’ which came out in 2004.
From seeing him play Punisher in Daredevil, I thought he could be great at taking on the role of the Terminator (whether protagonist or antagonist) he manages to carry such intimidation without having to say anything.
This dude gives off a good attitude, surprised he hasn't been in more stuff since the walking dead. In the middle of season 2 of daredevil and he's a great punisher. This may be the big break he needs to go big. I wish him the best.
you know, i noticed he always moving his head when he talk in every tv series or movie hes in, now i know that its just how he talk naturaly .... moving head
