I don't get people dogging on the Aphelios thing. It's just a cute nod towards the community, not a personal attack on everyone. If one of them was a woman, everyone would be gushing about it (and understandably so).

in the SB Skin Lore, the game doesn't even acknowledge both of them dating or anything. Plus, the Chinese Promotional Artwork for Sett's SB Skin Lore completely disregarded the whole Sett x Aphelios thingie because China isn't big on LGBT. To me personally, I believe Sett's nickname for Aphelios can be taken as just him being friendly or just mocking him in general.

Listen to his voice lines and read his lore he was an outcast his whole life and picked on and bullied for it the only place anyone ever liked him was the pits because he beat the ever loving shit out of everyone and they liked that but he was still seen as a lesser till he took over and know it’s out of fear they don’t disrespect him and he knows that
Sett should roughly be in his early 30s which would make him a kid as a vastayan but he’s half human so he ages like a mix so he looks early 20s but it at least in his 30s because he starting fighting as a kid and he fought for years before he took over

Well it's only in the Spirit Blossom AU. Seems just fine to me to use alternate versions to please different demographics. (Both lgbtq+ and straight people who find the relationship cute/silly/interesting.) And realistically it's not something to be bothered by lol.
