don't worry@n325aej, if you go frame by frame (use the "," and "." keys when paused on RU-vid), you will see he does have clear safety glasses with clear frames :-)
His "B" roll is better than most RU-vidr's "A" roll. And Cody is growing up so fast. Miss seeing Levi though. Old boi is like an old friend you like to see once in a while.
@@burnettjerry Andrew lives in new york state, if i am not mistaken. he isnt on here for fashion hints. Andrew is a working man who do as much of everything he possibly can for himself, BY HIMSELF. sometimes he does things a certain way and you may say, why is he doing it that way. well , thats the way he does it or just the way he knows HOW to do it. not everyone does everything the same way. i have enjoyed watching him for the last several years. his castle he is building has been a pleasure to watch grow and change. he has made a few additions since last i saw it, like the framing in for windows and doors on the upper level. KEEP UP THE COOL WORK ANDREW !!!
That was hilarious! I wasn't expecting it but I do have to say I agree with Andrew. Garbage around the house is not good. If everyone picked up after themselves some neighborhoods would look much better.
Now: 30 year old Andrew "I'm not going to even bother heating this building" Later 40 year old Andrew: "OK, so today I'm going to be installing a heater in this building" Give it time brother. You'll have heat in there eventually. I was the same way :)
it's uninsulated steel, you'd go bankrupt heating it. though Andrew does have access to a practically endless supply of firewood so a woodstove would be the only practical proposition.
He said in a previous video during the wintertime: the reason he doesn’t heat it is so when he goes from in the shop to plowing to outside his body gets used to the cold and he doesn’t rely on heat. Plus then he doesn’t have to worry about his plow truck fogging up on the inside
@@chuckkolancz4969 As a Canadian who does most of his work in an uninsulated pole barn, I'd say those minor inconveniences loose to heat lol. I'd at least have it insulated so then you have the OPTION to heat it if need be. Nothing's worse than trying To work on a frozen plow truck covered in ice that won't melt, tools sticking To your hands, eye glasses fogging up when your cutting stuff.
Flammable storage locker has the knockouts for a reason. 1 lower on 1 side and 1 higher on the other to be vented to the outside to prevent gas fume build up.
A flammable storage locker still has the knockouts for a reason. 1 lower knockout on 1 side, and 1 lower knockout on the other side to be vented to the outside to prevent gas fume buildup.
Honestly, these are like my favorite videos because it's kind of an everyday vlog life. It's just neat to see what you're up to. Glad things are coming along Andrew, talk to you soon bud!
Sam Max he doesn’t have one I guess he has a Facebook group that but the owner of it (not Andrew) isn’t letting me in so I was wondering if there was another way to get the vid
I love watching your videos you are such a cool guy you remind me when I was your age tinking around with machinery and stuff and keeping everything tidy as you go and I always respect machinery vehicles right down to animal's, Keep your videos coming I'm Bruce 63yrs old from New Zealand
@J Hemphill I dropped out at 15 now I'm making 55$ an hour doing construction. But a lot of people that drop out are not that successful so continue doing school. I'm debating on getting my GED so i can head to collage.
The castle is very cool, and the series about its construction is made cool. Continue in the same spirit. Thank you very much for your creativity! Andrey (Andrew) is an ancient and very popular Russian name. Russia, Western Siberia, Novosibirsk
One of my favorite videos. Loved seeing the front porch and the before and after of the plants. Love seeing the back area too. All the trees and color from the leaves looks great. Such a beautiful peace of land and its so clean. Love all the new gravel too. Thanks for the update on the castle too. Good to see your doing well. You're a lucky guy. You have a great life. Take care.
15:14 I've never noticed that little set of steps there on the right, but I absolutely love it. It blends in really well, and I know that if I lived there (if only), it would drive me crazy having to walk around the flowerbed every time I want to go right out of the door, so I definitely understand why it's there. Also: nice to see you're using more real flowers instead of the plastic ones. The plastic ones look fine, but watching plants grow is always part of the fun. Plastic doesn't grow, usually.
Andrew, your casa’s looking good! A tidy and well kept surroundings free of trash is indicative of the orderly, awesome people living there. Safety is always important especially in the type of amazing things you do. All glass in the front or around will go to make your view awesome.
It’s so good to see that things are progressing nicely with the container castle build Andrew and it’s good to keep ones yard neat and tidy. It’s also great 👍 to haw Cody has grown since the last video and I really do like to see your dogs too Andrew, they are so very fit and healthy and they both have such wonderful natures.
Thanks for being the type of person that sorts the trash properly and makes the difference the world needs! Good stuff all around. Great videos. Keep them coming, please!
You share a work environment so different than that of which I perform that it is hypnotizing to see your work. Thank you for sharing with us what you do and where you work.
I have to say out of all channels, this channel makes you feel alive, Andrew hits that spot of good person great work ethic and love of life. I mean this with all the sincerity I can mean. Great work man !!
Construction Trucks never happen, he built it himself and didn’t just buy it and add his touches to call it his or spend $10m to buy it lol. Also I doubt you wil ever see a Lamborghini sitting in front of his shop unless they are lost
Watched this one when it originally posted but thought I’d watch again while I wait for the next post... Anyway I love Andy’s sentiment on the trash / garbage. If you walking by it.. pick it up!
Andrew you must really enjoy the projects, all is looking good! The explosion proof cabinet is designed to be vented to carry fumes out of the confined area of the box. Hence the bungs on the sides to be vented to the outdoors. One vent high and one low for air convection, as for some fumes rise and some fall. Good call on this addition to your shop. It only takes one aww shi... and all is in jeopardy. I don't imagine the fire dept is close. Cody is turning out to be a ham!
Andrew i suspect you dont have a tv or at least cable seeing how busy and productive you are all the time...LOVE your homestead and your WHOLE property set up....thumbs up brother!!!!!
Wow you really busted your butt building that castle, I have been with your channel from the beginning or pretty close and that castle work and your property is a the ultimate “man cave”, it’s beyond words, the results of your excellent work ethics, you do your generation justice, instead of burning buildings and rioting and spreading hate you are the opposite, God Bless you Andrew!
Andrew you are doing a fantastic job there by yourself mate. You are a true inspiration to many out there. For those who say they can't do it because its too hard. Well you have many videos to show just what can be done. Keep up the great work buddy.
The trick is to actually let it go back into the system, and not save it forever. I almost died laughing when I saw Andrew standing inside of the trash cans to compact the cardboard. This reminded me of myself, but with a tiny residential suburban recycling bin... I need more space for more paper trash !
YES so happy to see a new video with you Andrew. Always something new, and always great videos. Hope you have ahd a nice summer. I look forward to the next video. I wish you all the best, from Jan in Norway
The_Hate_Inside - I’m hoping you were trying to be funny, if you read the post from acidtreat101 again he was talking about Andrews parents watching Levi now, I know it reads that way but just improper grammer, and besides with your fake RU-vid handle it tells me that you are an ignorant hateful troll, youtube unfortunately has millions of them:(
You're an awesome worker bud. Actually got me inspired to start doing some stuff on my land and castle. Thanks for the vids and the effort you put into them.
I wasn't sure if I should watch this video. I love pretty much all your videos. But I was thinking, 'is this relevant to me?' And then, at 1.30, you mention, almost as a throw-away aside, about keeping your yard clean. Man, right there, I was sooo glad I watched this video. (And the bit with the snail is a similarly delightful nugget!) I'm 48, and I've slipped into terrible slovenliness during lockdown. I tend that way anyway. But it's gotten right out of hand, everywhere: every room of our home, the front garden, the back garden, my workshop. Everywhere. Thank you sooo much for this B-roll video. It's actually been kind of profound for me... if you can believe it!? Keep well, and keep on keeping on, bro'! With love from the UK.
