0:00 Buying a broken Hyster roller I never did anything with 5:44 Buying a skid steer roller attachment then demonstrating that. Roller came from: www.skidsteersolutions.com/
I've been watching Andrew for a few years now, and you have to admire the kid's resourcefulness and work ethic. He is also a master on the dozer, which many people don't realize, is one of the most difficult machines to master. He makes grading look easy and it isn't, not by a long shot. This young man is the whole package. He's pleasure to watch and admire.
Surprised me also. Especially when he said he was gonna cut an access hole to get to those hoses. But that was some VERY thick material he would have had to cut through and probably set the hoses on fire anyway. Plus have to make a special haul trip to and from his yard.
Agree. His skill at setting up shots and editing is easy to overlook because it’s so professional. There was a short segment with the bulldozer putting rock on drive where it appeared he used 2-3 camera setups plus possibly a drone, in only a minute.
With 718K subscribers I’ve never heard Andrew ask for likes, subscribers, or ringing bells for notifications just interesting content where something useful gets done. Now that’s a recipe for success.
@@joshuakalaniparks9084 I skip it too - still freaking annoying anyway. If the content is of any interest the subscription will come by itself, not because the tuber pleads for it.
Awesome videos Andrew! I've been watching for about a year now and you've become an inspiration to get out there and get stuff done. It's great to see someone doing all the things that you do, thank you for sharing it all with us!
That's the best reply I have ever seen. LOL He would probably have added "This is what happens when you leave them out in the weather, and use ethanol"
I was laughing out loud when you said you would be cutting a larger access hole in that roller. I was really looking forward to seeing your no-nonsense approach to fixing things applied to that old roller. You repairing things is probably 70% of my enjoyment of your channel. The skid steer roller attachment is a graceful way to fill the need. I don't think vibratory rollers are used to break rock, just compact the ground, right?
There's a special place in hell for engineers that design machines that are difficult to fix. Someone's about to spend eternity replacing hydraulic lines on that roller.
I love the way you turn into a kid when you get a new toy, I need a friend like Andrew! Never a dull moment I bet. Stay safe Andrew and always be awesome 😎
Over the years I was always impressed how you can take any machine you owned and were able to make a smooth service. This roller is just going to slow you down! Your to professional, it’s more of a homeowners tool
This side of New York looks amazing. Whenever I think of the state I think of all the buildings and people, but this is beautiful. I love the landscape of your area and thanks for the great video!
Love your work lol, RIP lawn mower and TV. brings joy to me to see your lovely dogs hang with you where ever you go, they have an awesome environment to excercise, explore , swim and just be your best mates! much love from Australia
@@phillipjones3342 You don't know that. Andrew has fixed plenty of things from weedeaters to heavy equipment. And I'm sure whoever Mustie is he doesn't need you to be his fanboy.
@@wildtimbrown You really should check out Mustie1 His channel is awesome. Right up there with Andrew and several others like Bus Grease Monkey, Iron Trap Garage and Watch Wes Work. All are fascinating to watch. Especially now with Covid19 lockdown for us high risk types.
@@ronaldheit196 Watch Wes Work is some fun stuff. Mustie is Everybody's Favorite Uncle, there's also Matt on Diesel Creek... there's a lot of Really Good Stuff in this niche
You're the only one o. RU-vid that really showed how the vibratory attachment works. Everyone else shows a small gest of it. You show how it really really works. Thank you Andrew!
You’re welcome. I just put out three videos on a bigger roller, those are some pretty cool videos. this skid steer attachment isn’t really powerful enough for rolling down rock. The big roller is much stronger
When AC gets new equipment, he tests it thoroughly. In this vid, he proves it can pack stone, break bigger rocks, give you a glass-flat road and paddywhack a lawn mower, big screen and a pumpkin until they become part of the driveway at the molecular level. In other words, just another day in the life. Good one! 😎👍👏
First thing I thought of when I saw that old timey roller was Fred Dibney and his steem powered collection. What a monster and all the repair videos you would have to make.
Great call on that roller repair. Sometimes you just don’t want the hassle, especially as you know well enough the pain you’ll be putting yourself through.
@pete smyth Yeah, that's the issue these days. Clickbait is just about everywhere these days. It's refreshing to see a non clickbait title on someone's channel.
I agree that hydraulic fix looked like a nightmare, through that small opening and with the loading problem besides. New one clips on and off as needed.
I'd say he is really smart. Bought a machine, assessed it's potential, found the plusses and minuses. Don't know if Andrew lost money or made money or broke even on the deal. But it doesn't matter. He figured out it wasn't worth his time and cut it loose. Bought what works for him. Good on you Andrew.
Thank you for sharing this with us Andrew. Now that you've straightened out that Lawn Mower, you want to pop it over to Mustie1 to see if it will run. Nice to see the new roller's on TV.
My dad was born 1920 and left work at the bank the first day and became a life long aviation engineer. He would often say “ He who fights and runs away, lives to fight another day.”
I saw the mower come out and I was like "ohh he's going to mow around where he just patched the driveway" nope proceeds to smash the shit out of it with his new attachment...lol You haven't changed a bit Andrew
one of my favorite recurring themes on this channel is how Andrew gets a new piece of equipment and just tests it out on his driveway like digging a big hole or ditch in it and filling it back up
Sales Executive:" Let's send Andrew one of our skid steer implements to promote for us ... Chief engineer replies: " What? Have you SEEN any of his videos?"
Fred in Engineering: you know Bob we need to make this roller attachment robust..... Bob comes back after seeing AC’s content....Fred? Will you update the specifications to add sheet metal straightening up to 14 gauge and shale rock crushing up to 3” thick? We should be able to sell a lot more at higher prices!!
hello Andrew good to see you and love the new roller you bought and enjoyed watching you testing it on your driveway with all the broken pieces of rock and seeing how the roller smooths out your driveway and was very interesting seeing crush the that old lawn mower and that old tc wow what a job to see everytime i see your powerful machines they always do the job that you need them to do for you or your customers like i've always said i always enjoy your videos so thankyou Andrew and until next video i say buy for now from Randy from ontario.canada take care and please stay safe out there in everything you do and go p.s my apologize on being late on watching and commenting on this video.
You definitely made the right choice selling that roller and buying the one for the skidsteer. I hate having to load a roller on a trailer especially when it is wet outside. Nice video Andrew.
Love seeing the mighty Cat working hard and that machine still has plenty of life in it! I do have a feeling though that we are going to be seeing a lot more of that vibro-roller in the future! Anything that refuses to be repaired is going to be flattened!
I think the main reason people watch the channel is because they like to see you fix and repair things so when you said you just sold it that was a shock
The idea of people seeing him fix stuff I think is part of it. But, no clickbait, no asking for likes, no asking to hit the subscribe button or the bell icon, no asking for to share it or comment, no throwing sponsorships in people's faces or anything else, I think that's also why people watch.
people in the uk will know what i mean when i say, 😉 what the frick are we paying the licence fee for when you can get content like this for free ? 🤔🇬🇧
Sort of the same with tv, why are we doing pay TV subscriptions when we can all just get over the air tv antennas and watch tv for free. Granted, over the air HAS supposedly existed since probably before world war 2 depending on the source you depend on and country you come from, but, still, pay subscription tv services is sort of a dated idea these days in my opinion.
@@rivahkillah oh? What do you mean by that? That one can watch tv for free with a antenna? Pff, that's the story over here in America, but most people are too stupid to realize or stubborn that they can forgo subscription tv services and get a tv antenna, the latter partly being true (partly with the whole stubbornness) because there are channels on subscription tv service that would otherwise not be on over the air. or the fact that they don't know about internet streaming, or the fact that they didn't end up with unlimited data internet access.
@Melissa Susanne SISSY Ladyboy 0:00 Andrew Camarata bought a broken Hyster roller that he never did anything with, 5:44 Andrew Camarata bought a Paladin VRS73 skidsteer roller attachment for rolling the gravel driveways while demonstrating that.
Nice attachment. I agree with your thoughts regarding ease of transportation and already having the skid steer. It'll be a very versatile tool for you and I'm sure like you said, it'll work wonders on freshly laid material, for example on all of those driveways you had put in previously.
Pawel M What About An A-10 Thunderbolt ( Warthog ) That Could Come In Handy Break Down Some Of Those Rocks And Depending How Good A Job It Helps Make Could Be A Good Advert And Get Him Plenty Of Work ? LOL
That was a nice trailer The guy who bought the roller from you.. I need a tilt 25 ton ! 💪🏼 2K was a good deal for that broke roller. Paladin makes good attachments
Wow you really hated that old mower 😆 and btw I don't even have a tv I've watched ALL YOUR. Vids and I have too say seeing you blow off SUM steam w that roller was funny!!!! Hopefully you had a great gobble gobble DAY. Hope 2021 brings you ALL YOU'VE ever wanted!!! GOD BLESS
