Great video. You can also throw a silencer on the outlet valve to make depressurizing the pot quieter.

Do you have a video showing how to use it with a bike pump? I live in an apartment (pretty close quarters) so a compressor is a no go for me

Hi Alec! You mentioned the Harbor Freight pressure pot could also be pressurized with a bicycle pump. Do you have a tutorial for that?

Just curious why you didnt put the ball valve on the other side and the male connector on it so you could plug your air hose into it? Then either a plug or the female on the other side to make a "plug"

Thank you for this tutorial ; Could you tell me what kind of air compressor I need for pressurize some pressure pot like this? I 've got an airbrush compressor ( 3L of air volume) which can give me 6 bars of pressure, is it enough?

That is completely enough it might pressurize a bit on the slow side but you're talking about minutes! Tons of folks in the dice community use airbrush compressors heck a large number even use converted bike pumps!

Hi I recently got into the hobby and i have one of your molds! Any thing from this tutorila that has changed? Also do have have to worru about voids if lets say i have a very bubbly resin?

this one I made using some 9-in wood rounds you can buy on Amazon and cutting a wooden dowel but I would recommend a insert I purchased it from a website that sells products for making pen blanks. Great tutorial, thanks so much! Quick question (in the hopes, you still see this): is the additional larger ball valve (blue) necessary? Or could I technically also just plug this and do everything over the other hole - or is that a big NO NO due to safety reasons?

You can 100% do that! The main reason I didn't was just to have an additional valve that releases pressure faster. A lot of people go with the single ball valve for both controlling inlet and exit. This is an older video so I would change some things such as that and using a male quick connect at the end of the ball valve rather than a female so it can be used easier

Just so anyone in the future knows,blue locktite doesnt require heat irs hand tools only red requires a torch to remove parts

Watch those Air Compressors! Some are so loud you need earplugs alongside Ear Muffs designed for firearms! And they get louder the cheaper they are!

That's why we use the ultra quiets. They are literally whisper quiet about as loud as a sink faucet turned on.

Careful... my Harbor Freight 2 1/2 gallon pot had 3/8" elbow not 1/2" on the top. Now, I'm headed back to Lowes... dammit.

This is a great beginner pot but if you're intending to use it a lot expect to have to invest in a higher quality pot.

100% agree. This is a great low budget starter pot! I personally use a model 365CW from California Air Tools. You can see it hiding in the background :)
