Kick ass man. Congratulations and I love your content. At 12:38am in the morning with a screaming toddler knowing good and got damn well I need to be up at 6am for work, you give me fuel to make it through my day/struggle. Thank you
Seeing WALLABEE on this list immediately made my day. This is such a vast array of wrestling from every corner of the fucking genre, I love this video. Hats off sir, and heres to 700 more
Just to add a tiny tidbit to Joseph's pick of SJM vs Ken Cifer (which I've also watched so much lol), SJM actually runs the third fed in the Philippines, the local branch of World Underground Wrestling (they run shows at a place called Brawl Pit, also a pretty peculiar spot). And yeah these two have historically almost always beat the piss out of each other and it's always a good time (or so he said in interviews). Also yo congrats on 700!
Thank you so much! Definitely checking out the rest of this rivalry, if you know my love for BattlARTS you know two shoot-adjacent guys who love beating the hell out of one another is my absolute jam.
I can confidently say, Joseph made me remember why I loved wrestling in the first place, I had left it back when the pandemic started, it wasn't really a decision i made i just stopped going through the efforts of watching, I was so so burned out because all i would do is watch wrestling and participate in the community, the community not being the nicest as we all know, i got back into it right after All Out 2021, i missed out on a lot but I'm glad i took my break, sometimes you need to take a break from stuff you love to truly love it all over again, Joseph has shown me a whole new world of wrestling i hope to speak to the man himself one day!!
The worst part about Twitter being absolutely dogshit, is that once in a rare blue moon it will recommend you a dope new voice you'd never hear otherwise. You earned a new sicko!
that hero vs kingston match is the best last man standing match of all time in my opinion and in my top 10 of all time personally nothing but pure unadulterated HATE in that match
That Saint and Grey match is my favourite match of all time, the comedy you mentioned interspersed within most if not all World of Sport matches represents the platonic ideal of all comedy in wrestling, there's a some of 'playful respect between competitors' that is embedded in even in its most serious and technical matches but I never find overbearing or unnatural. The main event of AEW All in could learn a thing or two from this I think. Comedy in wrestling should be more naturally ingrained into the often comedic movement of two wrestlers. Not screaming double clothesline at each other before double clotheslining each other. idk maybe this makes no sense. nonetheless congrats on 800 subs.
I absolutely get that, to me it felt a little like Saint toying with his prey only to fall victim to his own arrogance. Wholeheartedly agree that AEW could take notes on this type of comedy where it doesn’t feel directly disrespectful.
@@fourpillarsofhell3331 I feel like most of my truly favorite tag team matches include the LCO, which definitely says something about my taste. Just the rowdiest ladies to ever lace up the boots.
The ARSION tag is an all-timer match, loved that it was in this. That intro highlight package was nuts too, do you happen to have a list of the matches included in it? 😭
Nice video, well done. I want to recommend my MOTY Luke Jacobs vs Tomohiro Ishii at RevPro Anniversary XI. Its incredible, and gave me a certain feeling that the best wrestling matches make me feel. It has one hell of a unique headbutt. Congrats on 700+.
