u get robot dogs and ai taking over the world and then BOOM woozi in pink shoujo manga background. u can tell that the role they gave him in the gose could've easily had roses in the background if the editors were feeling generous. everybody wants u woozi. for your musical prowess and for your otherworldly beauty

The MV is basically (personal theory) showing the pov of the robot or even person using the members as subjects to train ai on (a lot of scenes that showed the members are being studied, like mingyu with screens showing our pov on the back, dk in that 3d scanner sensor thing idk what its called, etc), and they are saying they are unique on their own already and manmade stuff surpasses ai and technological replication (when robots malfunction, cant keep up). Woozi said this song uses 7-8 different samples from their own previous songs and i think its definitely to solidify the fact they mix old and new and make something unique that works but robots could only do so much. A lot of scenes showed the members taking control of creating too, like using the conductor stick or using instruments, really showing the humans vs ai debate.

this song samples 7 of their older songs btw, starting from akkinda which you can hear right at the beginning verses!! it's so amazing! woozi talked about seventeen's music making process and behind-the-scenes yesterday, and it's so fascinating to hear how some of our favourite songs were made on the spot in a hotel room at night, noise complaints included (for call call call). they will remain to be on top because of their organic growth and the personal hard work they put into making an album. one of the groups that will be fine no matter what.

As others have stated Woozi sampled 7 SVT songs for Maestro. Those songs are Adore U, Aju Nice, Oh My!, Fear, Rock with You, Cheers, and Super. Adore U is the most recognizable as it’s the guitar riff in the intro and verses.

Maestro in Italian is the conductor/master/teacher, depending on context but with the same idea that is someone that has a lot of knowledge on a certain topic. Accellerando and crescendo are both used in music and Italian words! It's always funny for me to heard them with an English accent. Loved your reaction💙
