I personally don't think that Snape was a villain. He tried to do the right thing at the end and paid the price. There can be many opinions about him and Lily, but I don't think he was ever obsessed. He was just a person in love and lost. Think about the burden he carried.

@@notsoregulariguess7935 Do you even know what the meaning of an incel is ? An incel is someone who doesn't respect women and thinks that he owed their affections. Snape never did anything like this to lily. On the other hand he respects women a lot. He is close friends with minerva and in the spinners end chapter he handled the situation with such dignity when he could clearly take advantage of Narcissa. Snape has done many good things like saving many lives, he is a hero. Maybe you should read the books again

How can you compare two different character snape and alan??? And actually snape was the bad character which changed bcz of lily's death. He was arrogant, mean,full of bad attitude, while Alan was really a good actor. Stop comparing man. He was able to do this because he was a better wizard than voldemort could ever hope to be. Voldemort stole and killed to be powerful. Snspe endured true pain and suffering throughout his life and used that to become as dangerous as everyone saw him to be.

Severus Snape is my favorite Harry Potter character of all time. Snape was just a guy who wanted to have a nice, peaceful life. His death still hits me hard, even 4 months after finishing all of the movies. Thank you J.K. Rowling for creating such a deep, beautiful character. Thank you Alan Rickman for creating this character to life. Thank you Evelyn for reminding me of his greatness once again.

I still remember, in the theaters, during "the reveal", when that silver stag was shown again, everyone was screaming, cheering and crying so loud that I couldn't even hear the rest of what Dumbledore said. What a beautiful moment. I miss that time. Snape is legend.

Why is Severus Snape my favourite character? Simply because there was something about him that was so human, something you can't help relate to. He had a rough childhood and lived most of his life with a broken heart, and this made him come off bitter and cold, but we all know what that feels like. Nobody's perfect, and Severus is a great example of why. The bravest man we ever knew...Always.

We all have our own "Severus Snape" in our lives who always stand at our back to support us and protect us, always keeps an eye on our movements and decisions to make sure we don't deviate from the goal. Whole life we are unaware of his/her contributions. And when we truly identify that what we are today is a complete contribution of the person whom we thought to be "supporter of the Dark Lord" was actually "defending us from Voldemort". Watching this made me literally cry... I am currently re-watching the series for the first time in my grown adult life and having a mature and more expanded mindset it really helps me understand that much more. Snape was the one protecting Harry all along. We love you Alan Rickman you were an amazing actor.

He even apologized to her and is shown to grow out his blood prejuidiced ways when he told the portrait of Phineas black to not call Hermione the m slur.

Same I used to be snater myself but after actually reading the books rather than what snaters aggressively passed as canon he become my favourite character. In the movies yes many of his nastier moments has been removed but many of his bravest and sympathetic moments were also removed.

This calibration was amazing, on its own Snape’s story already does an amazing job showing how tragic his story is while showing how important he is and what he did. I haven’t been as moved by Snape’s story since I first was old enough to understand how much he had suffered. His story becomes so familiar to us that he begin to forget how deep it is. This video was so emotional and really show how tragic his story was in a far deeper way than when it was by itself.

I am the character you are not supposed to like, he said but we love him. I raise my wand for Alan Rickman who gave us the best Severus Snape. He has beeen one of my favorite characters, mostly hurt and vulnerable inside. I can imagine what it's like to care deep inside but show otherwise out, it hurts more.

A strong character, to bear all the pain of losing your loved ones but not to give into the Darkness. playing the role of a Death Eater so good that no one doubted him being one but in fact, he never was a Death Eater, otherwise he couldn't produce a patronus. A pure Heart till the end.
