What machine settings and needle and thread type please

Would you wash these in the machine?

I’ve made little zipped toilet bags. When the shiny side meets my machine it doesn’t want to move so I just lift it slightly and all is well with the stitching - I use a teflon foot.

So the iron on vinyl is for cotton fabric to be made to oil proof Waterproof fabric? I have iron on fusible interfacing fabric for adding more umpfh to my cotton fabric but I guess it also works on oil cloth?
