Sound issues should be fixed now, thanks everyone for your patience!
Come along as I make a new cotton print Victorian bustle gown for an event with my local costuming group! I will be using Truly Victorian patterns TV466 - 1887 Alexandra Bodice, TV363 - 1887 Summer Overskirt, and TV261 - 1885 Four-Gore Underskirt for this new dress.

Waited until you added the sound and it was worth the wait. You looked beautiful in your skating dress. Hoped you would show it with your cape and muff, the finishing touch. Just stunning! Now you have to find a pair of antique skates, lol.

Beautiful! What a wonderful gift of fabric, and such splendid results! I must admit I was surprised you hemmed it quite long, but that seems to have turned out fine. I'm very enamoured with the finished outfit, especially the choice of black accents. I made 2 costumes using TV patterns for a play many years ago, and I was seriously impressed with how the sizing system works, because the two actresses figures were very different. One of these days, I should make one for myself!

Thank you! It sits a inch or two above the floor, which is plenty once there's an ice skate's worth of extra height added, haha! TV patterns are always really lovely.
