Hi Friends!
Here's my review of the Truly Victorian TV-261-R 1885 Four-Gore Underskirt pattern taht I am using for my Lady Watson Costume for Costume College.I have made this pattern a few times now and I feel like I have a good feel for it! I hope you enjoy!

Very generous of you to review the bumps & detours of the skirt pattern construction. Especially when you discuss re-sewing the pleats into the waistband and the adjustment (with pleat trimming) of the shorten skirt length. You might have concerns but you don't give up! It’s super important to let people know that the internet is all lies! Especially Instagram and RU-vid. I try and be as real as possible and that seems to help people to carry on when they hit the same roadblocks. That makes me super happy!

What kind of bustle do have under this skirt? I have this same Truly Victorian skirt and petticoat you have, and seeing the results I’m excited to make mine. What other bustle options are there as I don’t have the pattern for the lobster tail.

Were all Victorian waistbands so narrow? It seems to me that the skirt would be more comfortable if the waistband were wider.

Hello! I am about to cut out the pattern but I was wondering if I cut it out based on my measurements with all my underpinnings on or my natural measurements...
