In addition to the previous note, I forgot to mention that I’m an avid perennial gardener to and I get a kick out of every time you go into the perennial stores and how you just get so excited. I just cannot tell you how much that reminds me of me! The feeling you get from the scents and the beauty of the plants, its so addictive!! I get so excited and distracted by every single plant and I too want to bring it all home. I’ve had my car filled with my little nieces faces, peeking through when they were six years old in their car seats surrounded by plants peeking through. Currently, I’m also working on dahlias. They’re one of my favorites as well. I have two beds approximately 100tuber plants that I have to dig up in winter and store. every single year so yeah it’s a little bit of work but I just love it. They are one of my favorites for cutting as well and I’m a big big rose fanatic so like I said, you are a kindred spirit all the way!! I hope this gives you some smiles and sending good wishes. Hello Alla, I’m writing today to say how happy I am to find you and your channel. My sister and I are planning on coming to Italy and we love watching you and everything that you and Sergi are doing. You are such a joy to watch. I can’t even tell you how much I enjoy it. You remind me of me in so many ways, even the story of the straw berry picking as a child brought back so many happy memories for me. I grew up in the country with farmland and family veggie gardens and my neighbor had acres of strawberries fields a I was a strawberry picker as a young girl to earn spending money. I would work the fields for my neighbor, picking, selling and weeding and putting down straw ,etc. ❤ I too hated the slugs ! One funny story I have is when I was wearing bellbottoms pants as it was the 70s and the Strawberry rows had a layer of straw bedding to protect the berries from sitting on the ground and also to keep the weeds at bay down the paths. Well, it also hosted a nice area for field mice and I disrupted a nest and all these little mice went running out my pant legs.😂❤. I am currently about eight months from your current videos that you’re and I wanted to let you know that I just watched “Halloween at Villa de Ora, our new Cozy kitchen”,and I wanted to give you this website: www.replacements.com/ for for you to go looking for a replacement for that lovely champagne goblet that was damaged. I use this site all the time to replace old China pieces that I am looking for. They also do stemware. If you have any markings on it to identify it you might be able to find a replacement, but they also will allow you to upload a photo to help you identify I believe so maybe you can find a replacement!! Anyway, I am so looking forward to keep watching and not miss anything and someday when my sister and I make it over there, that is my goal as I want to retire there, my sister and I would love to stop by and say hello. The golden days of your mother’s visit are flying past. It would be so sweet if she lived closer to you. The wall weeps on purpose. The gutter at the bottom of the wall carries this part of the mountain’s burden of water away down to the lake. The whole system of permeable rock walls keeps the balance of moisture versus pressure within the structure of the hillside. Somehow it has worked there for hundreds of years. It will be fine. (My husband is a geologist and has explained this to me.)
Those curtains are lovely. The reverse side would be pretty for cushions or chair covers. Well done with lining them. Sergei youve done a brilliant job on the stove.Well done. Alla you could turn the walls into hanging gardens with waterwise plants.❤
You did a terrific job restoring that stove! It’s a shame that you are leaving it outside because with all that moisture, it will rust out very quickly

Oh the garden kitchen is wonderful! The cooker looks to work fantastic thanks to all the patience and effort 👍 I guess nature shall make its own artistic mark on the stone walls, you shall feel merged…. Hopefully the water will cause no difficulty with function.
You need to turn your wood burner on your fire air vent down till you see blue flame then you are burning gases which gives you more heat also better burning for invirament also fill firebox till can’t get any more wood in then turn down till blue flame you don’t use so much wood..
Just an observation. Your fire must not give out sufficient heat because you set so so close to it. And your chair/ couch is so close, your practically on top of it! Perhaps you need an upgrade for the size of your area and more in other rooms?
At least the rain is giving you a marvelous garden. Maybe you should flatten the roof over the summer kitchen and make a roof top garden! Just kidding...or not! Lol!
