Alla, all your towers you made have made all the difference for your roses. Alla, buy some white tulle and wrap the plants the slugs eat. Also wrap the berries so the birds don't get them. (or get your Mom to squash the slugs). Lol! The lanterns are gorgeous! You find the best things in charity shops!

The lanterns are so lovely! They restore so much character and beauty. Have you thought about painting any exterior scenes or patterns on your house, similar to the exterior decor in South Tyrol? A few simple flourishes over your doorways could look beautiful. And a painted border around the windows and doorways might also be nice.

I remember the day you planted the tiny jasmine stick.❤ Your vision for training the vines all around the doorway and up the side of the house is coming true. Every time I see the jasmine I think of its origins at the beginning of this restoration. It is a representation of the joy and success you have created. ❤ The potted plants at the church and the gorgeous Church Rose 🌹 are singing.
As that last lantern swings in the winds, its movement can degrade the loop that it is hanging on. If you can find a couple of thick iron rings, and look at the lamps connection point to discover any weaknesses., it might help to give it some stability in extreme weather. A swinging lamp has momentum and just like an ocean wave, it can bring about its own destruction.

Love the lanterns...you ate a good shopper! Now...I think you should paint the shutters. I'm thinking blue but it's so typical. You being an artist i think you will come up with a beautiful color. If you painted th villa a grayish-9:32 beige color, the girls from lady of the chateau productions chateau, are changing their shutters from blue to a greenish grey color by Farrow and Ball. Go to their last vlog and see it.
