A good tip for tracing patterns from your own clothes, pin around the area with the paper over either a foam core surface or a carpet, then it won’t slide around and you’ll have the pinpricks to connect the dots
I think super hero in a good way! And I know I need to take my own advise but 2020 and 2021 has taught us not to take things for granted, wear that anywhere. Reminds me of the outfit Britney Spears wore in Oops I Did It Again 💛
I am loving these sewing videos! Can't wait to see what you make next. I'm new to sewing so i've started with the basics...apron, tote bag, mask and drawstring bag, hairbands etc. I've been too scared to make a dress or top incase i ruin the lovely fabric i have! Great video and so easy to follow!
The serger is not only for finishing seams! You can just serge the pants instead of having to use the sewing machine and serger! Makes it so much faster too! And still looks just as good(:

For pattern making you can also use a thick wrapping paper. Many rolls already have straight lines inside to help but it’s a common item most people have

There are a lot of different ones on Amazon and none have the brand on your container listed. I didn't know sewing clips were a thing, I definitely need them!
The outfit is cool, but yes, kind ouf out there if you are not a Jenner...but as you say, you csn wear the separatelly. They will look cute too. And you can make the same set with a more unassuming fabric. The patterns are amazing and the shapes look great on you!

im a fashion student AND i can tell you.. we almost always do this like you because we don't have enough time for construction of thr pants and other stuff 😂
If you want to sew these pants and don't have an overlocker/ serger get a twin needle for your home sewing machine it will help keep the stretch and look super professional
Love your fun pants/outfit! Maybe instead of. Super hero, you look like Brittney Spears in her late 90s early 00s vid (Oops I Did it again, I think. Her outfit was red). Pants like that aren't usually very flattering on me (shiny or less structured fabric), but I realized I have one super comfy pair of black yoga pants and I could follow your steps to make more (casual/lounge pants?) in fun colors.
