Sewing Tips: Binding Board & Pins 

I do this on my ironing board, and use baby diaper pins. Works like a charm!

I love the binding board. I wrap my finished binding on a cardboard tube, a half of a toilet paper tube is perfect, then I slide it onto an upright paper towel holder. The one from Dollar Tree is perfect. The binding unwinds perfectly as you are then sewing it onto your project.

I remember seeing my mom and my grandma doing this -- and I've done it for the past 50 years.. Nothing new here!

That was fast and easy! No more burning fingers. Love it!

Doll making needles are several inches long. Their length makes them great for binding boards. You don’t have to fiddle with short pins.

Doll needles work better. Use a piece of cardboard to wrap it. What kind of reflective material is on her ironing board?

Ummm.... you gals dont use binding cut on the bias?

Use a small clean trash can to hold your flat binding before you press…
