I have to say, when I was thinking about ending my life at only 23 years old, I always said to myself "hey, let's wait until we are 30 something just like Carrie and her friends, maybe life it's better" and I'm so happy that I almost going to be 30... Thank SATC you really make me smile, cry, feel, and mostly, be excited for keep living, loving and be alive.
Annie pls don't ever think of doing anything like that. No matter what you've been going thru, life's great to live... and if you ever get into dark thoughts, pls seek out for therapy with a decent counselor ASAP! Kisses and hugs!
This show is an important part of my life. SATC has been the best company through lonely periods. I have laughed, cried, admired the FASHION, dreamed about friendships like theirs . . It has been 25 years of the best entertainment I could wish for. ❤
The generations born into now has everything available at their fingertips. They really didn't understand how important the impact of SATC's conversations, the friendships and the art of all forms was to us women decades ago. Fashion, personal acceptance and progression wasn't accessible to us in the mainstream entertainment. In certain ways it was similar to the Mary Tyler Moore Show, both shows opened doors for women on and off screen.
@@barcelonachair6487 you are so right! I'm born 1970 and I was 28 years when this show premiered. . . It has had a HUGE impact on me. Also I have to say the casting is just excellent. I will watch it over and over again until i die.
That Miranda and Steve moment. 😍 I hope Kim's cameo will lead to a 3rd season of AJLT. I genuinely would like to see the ladies back again in one frame. I hope SJP, Kim, and the rest of the stars will set aside their differences and give the fans the show they truly deserve.
They definitely should do it for their fans. They are humans… we are humans… these things happens all the time. So move on and be the four girls with their own different personalities, with their ups and downs, fights and disagreements, but encouragement and support at the end.
I’m an optimist but I’m also a realist. “ Never going to happen” said in a voice like Sylvia Miles (old lady that puts lithium on 🍨). This was Kim Cattrall’s 🎁 to the fans. Be happy she did anything. I’ve met three of the stars and one of them I actually worked with for a few days. Fun fact about Sylvia… she was nominated for an Oscar for her role as a cougar in Midnight Cowboy. She lost to a 23 year old Goldie Hawn.
Man you do the your hopes waaaay up high hu? Lol don't get me wrong that's a wonderful tho g to still have in a sad world like today but, you are aware that cameo it's a phone call, duration of minutes, maybe 2 at most and that Kim never even saw a crew but sent her voiceover for them to sue it, right? Cause to expect all of that is removing all the real life offensive situations that did happened within that group, as I'd it was just minor inconveniences. The best we had from those characters, happened during the SARC 6 seasons, and that's all we're going to get. And for me, I don't see any issue with it.
What the fans truly deserve is to have left the show at the end of season 6: no movies, no sequel/reboot. The stuff post-series-finale is just garbage. The fans deserve better.
You know how everyone has a couple of shows that even when media is bombarding you with new ones to binge... You go back to and re watch for the 100th time? This is one of mine! Thanks for making this trailer! It got me excited about a story i know by heart ❤️
Growing up in Brooklyn in the early 2000s I remember when this show aired on tv and my parents would constantly switch the channel as soon as it came on. Coming around to finally watching this in my 20s, I felt such a huge wave of nostalgia of what was NYC 2 decades ago. NYC is still here, it’s just not the way it was in the early 2000s. This show really captured the magic of growing up there and visiting the city every once in a while. It’s like I’m watching the grown-up version of My Scene (lol) and I’m so thankful for it.
I starting watching the show last month after season 1 I love it so much. After losing my grandma and my very last grandma on January 16th, I had to rewatch season 1 again and then the rest. It gave me comfort in the show. I feel like watching the show I am in the show at the dinner, their homes and in New York in the 90s what I time to be alive I was born in 97. But the show helped me understand a lot of relationships and men. And even though I’m 25 single and fabulous, I find my self always watching the show along with the other show and just like that, it’s very comforting to watch like a rom-com you rewatch over and over again. To anyone who sees this comment remember this: single, relationship, married or divorce, the show will always have a piece inside all of our hearts, minds and souls
Kim Catrall was the star od the show. Samantha was not only the most interesting character , she was also the most mature and loyal, true to herself and very classy in dealing with challanges. Everything a person watching the show can aspire to be. It is a complete opposite with Carrie.
Im 27, I were too young also before but started watching the serie recently. It has a couple of funny moment but thats all, there was nothing special on that serie tbh to me.
Threre's a place in my heart for them that never replace by anyone.Grew up with the girls and their love ones and always come back to watch many many times as my best old friends.Their stories give me faith and happiness all the time ❤
This show was absolutely fabulous and miss seeing new episodes at 10:00, right after a new episode of The Soprano’s at 9:00. Sunday nights on HBO were as good as it gets for a couple of decades ❤️
Now i am 32 yo (almost the heroine’s age at the beginning of series). I am still into this story! This is a kind of something timeless ❤ The plot is absolutely relevant for all generations and for many cultures.
Watching this reminds me how ICONIC Samantha Jones was! Ugh, I hope their cameo means that there is the potential that they would come back for a full return or at least more guest spots in season 3.
If you were fan of this in its first years and you try to watch it again now, you’ll see how much you have change your mind and you will not be a fan anymore
As we go through life and watched the series from start to finish find themselves being one of each characters along the way... different phases different characters...
