I like the interviewer, you could really see how genuinely affected she became when she spoke to Johnny. Johnny, what a man! I wonder if the people who judged him back in the days with Sex Pistols, ever would have thought this about him ❤️❤️
Yes I agree..the interviewer is genuinely moved..and although I always knew mr Rotten had this compassion, I doubt a lot of his detractors ever had the imagination that our Johnny has always been so.
Dave Harris , I grew up on punk rock, Filthy lucre live was my first CD, I have a certain way of looking at John lydon my whole entire life, however I never expected him to be such a loving and attentive husband and I love seeing the side of him he is such a great man I wish everybody could see him like this
he has to be admired for his dedication to his wife. people always talk about how sid and nancy was this great love story but johnny and nora is so much better.
Also Nora's daughter, Ari Up, from a previous relationship died from cancer way too soon. Johnny was her step father even though he wasn't so very much older. She was the lead singer of all-girl punk band The Slits.
The way he started off, I would’ve never guessed he would have turned out to be such a noble man. My dad has this terrible disease and I hope they find a cure. No one should have to go through this😢
Love ! Are u for real, have u been through it, I used to put my mother to bed 10pm, she be up at 1 or 2am getting dressed, to meet friends, she even thought she was on a train on occasions, I had to get up for work at 5am, some nights I got no sleep, that’s a nightmare, have u experienced this 🤷♀️
Brought a year to my eye. I'm about the same age as John and have always respected his honesty and integrity. Nora is lucky to have had 50 years of love from him.
My eyes discovered John lydon as a young child in the 70s. Everything about him I instantly admired but could not explain why and here is the why I always knew but couldn't explain. He was not a pin up to me, rather just someone I enjoyed hearing and seeing because I never saw anyone like him or anyone since. It's comes as no shock to me how loyal and loving he has been in his til death us do part bond. Good on you John for forever proving the critics wrong and good luck with the contest. John taught me so much as a young rebellious youth. Those lessons still contribute to who I am and how I view the world. Now all these years later, as a grown man, he is still teaching me about how to live in this world. Thanks John! Our hearts are with you!
Saw him a little while back on his tour promoting his book , never really liked him all that much but he was appearing in our local theater and like him or not hes a part of rock n roll history , so i went and he totally changed my opinion of him . Hearing about his wife and Sid was very touching , was very patient with a disabled guy who derailed the evening a little at the begining , i could have a lot of time for him if our paths ever crossed .
He said it best, in a rare People magazine story / interview. In regards to nora, "We're forever." And that was it...2 words. Too many think Johnny has no grace because he's brazenly truthful. He is a beautiful human. Period. Much wisdom as well (if you can take it). ;)

Johnny Rotten was a persona. John Lydon is a very decent man. His wife is older than him and they met when he was very young. He has loved her from the first moment and will love her until his last breath. How lucky to have a love like this. I envy you John.
Yes, what a lucky lady Nora was to have found someone as dedicated to her as Johnny is. Such a truly beautiful thing it is to see such devotion & real love to another human being. If only all men were as noble as the great John Lydon!

I love how the reporter was able to express love to John. Most people who have interviewed him never even had the chance because of how confident he would always seem. He's always been a genius. He always had a clear sense of what was going on and what was right or wrong.

Great interview. He's an inspiration in his way of dealing with their situation. Nice to see real warmth from the lady interviewing him, not talking over him, but actually listening to John as he spoke.
There's more humanity in this so called Punk than anyone I've ever known. He's a beautiful soul who is obviously devastated and totally in love with his wife. God bless them both.

In the US, John appeared on the Masked Singer to cheer up his wife, now he's written a beautiful song to perform for her on Eurovision. He may not be a perfect man, but his love for his wife and his work caring for her is an example for everyone.
