I’d rather have too much than too little. The 700 would probably be best with a 2x12 (I haven’t reviewed the 700 yet).

@@aaronshortmusic great! Im wanting to build a rack unit so was looking at a power amp to power my mesa 2x12 cab. Looking at the powerstage 700 coz it can be rack mounted

@@12Jsilva I think it’s what you are looking for. Try to get one with a return policy so you can test it out at a rehearsal.

You deff don’t wanna put 700 (300ish because it’s most likely 8 ohms) through a 2x12 (I’m assuming the power handling is 120w.
