Hi, my experience: the archive items are also in a cart for 30 mins. But: as soon as you add a new item, the clock is ticking beginning from this moment again. So, let's say you add an item A, you've got 30 mins. After 25 mins you add an item B, you've now got 30 mins again ( or even more) instead of 5 left to checkout the A. . But: if you remove the item B, the counting is going back again starting from the time of adding the first item. So l, if it took you more than 30 mins from adding the item A, puff, its gone. I'm not sure if i could explain it clearly enough;)

That’s exactly how it works with my normal purchases, but during the archives I’ve lost items after 12 min in my cart 😞 Could have been a glitch on the website/app, but after this, I just make sure I check out as soon as possible to avoid seeing my cart empty again 😅
Great tips Mila, I was able to score some lovely pieces and I was able to keep things in my cart by just adding pieces from the New collection, and taking them off in the end, thank you
All great advice. I have actually sometimes gone back a couple of hours later to check on an item that was "in someone's basket" and actually was able to purchase it. A couple of weeks ago I actually deleted an item that was in my basket and guess what 😓 Well.... I saved a lot of 💰 😅 I was only able to get 1 item I wanted. I am so glad to hear that I could use previous lookbooks! Didn't know that one.
Yes that has happened to me too (finding an item hours later after being gone for a while 😂). As for the stuff in the basket, whatever I put in there I don’t even look at it again unless it’s to check out - I’ve lost wait too many and it’s so annoying 🤣 I agree with you about the money saved though lol The lookbooks are definitely helpful so we can narrow down the items we want to target. Hello Mila, Happy Sunday. I didn't get anything from the Archives because I didn't find anything I liked, except for a leopard blouse but it was in someone’s basket. Luckily this archives nothing really caught my eye as a “have to have” but I did spot my favorite Leon trousers! I got the taupe luckily on Poshmark brand new unworn but this archives I saw the wine color came back! It was sold out but I was stalking it on my wishlist and either a canceled order or someone not validating their cart soon enough made one pair in my size pop up and ami checked out immediately. Today I happened to wake up in the middle of the night during the release of the essentials and saw the 70s trousers in coffee was stocked and I checked out immediately as well. Glad I did because because they all disappeared before my eyes when I was hesitating lol

I saw them last night (got other items instead), but because it’s rigid, I decided to pass on them 🤦🏻♀️ I did order The crop, but it will likely not fit me. Let’s see! Oh Mila, thank you so much for these tips! I unfortunately made the mistake you mentioned because I didn't know: I wanted two pairs of shoes, size 42 (= I always have trouble in general finding them even second hand); I put them in the cart with other things; I took something out, everything disappeared and then they went out of stock, LOL 😂 When you say there will be another archive soon, how soon do you mean = in the current season or do they usually make the other one around summer time?
Oh no I’m sorry to hear that happened to you! Well, I’ve been there lol 🫠😂 Now we’ve learned our lesson! The act II I meant is still for winter archives, so it should happen next week or maybe in 2 weeks. :) There’s normally 2 or 3 acts for each archives and the winter one should remain “available” on the website until it’s time for summer archives in July. ☺️
Thank you Mila! I really appreciate your work here! I just ordered the Robin shorts in bronze from the Archives. I've seen them on you and really liked them. I'm not sure how practical they'll be. Have they turned out to be a good purchase for you? How is sizing? I got my normal size.
Hi Anna! ☺️❤️ thank you so much! I love my Robin shorts in green (I bought them about a year ago). I wore them about 5 times last year and they look great, no piling or stains (I should have sprayed something to protect the suede though 🙊) I feel that the bronze color should be easier to maintain (and to style) since it’s darker and more neutral than my light green ones. I really love them but haven’t decided if I’m keeping or not since I already have the green 🤦🏻♀️ I got both in size 4 and it felt snug at first but after my 2nd wear, it molded to my body better. I love them because they’re less casual than denim/fabric and they’re perfect for cooler days too either in spring or fall. To me it was definitely worth it, even more now with the archives price! :)

How do I know when the second archives is happening? I tried to make a purchase 2 weeks ago and I tried to ‘register’ ( create an account) to make the purchase and it would not accept my phone number it’s been almost 2 weeks and customer service has done nothing. They said their IT would look into it. But now I’ve lost out on so many items in my size or the color I wanted. I’m surprised their customer service is so poor when this is supposed to be a ‘high end’ brand. Here I am ready to make several purchases and they can’t find a work around? This has been beyond disappointing and getting worse with each passing day.
Hi Sarah! I’m sorry to hear you had such a negative experience. Usually their costumer service is super fast and they respond so quickly, not sure why this happened to you. I get the fastest replies through WhatsApp and Instagram, but emails work too. I hope at this point you were able to sort this out ❤️ As for the archives, they didn’t let us know until the day before (I saw it on social media, Facebook and Instagram). I also got an email on the same day the archives happened! The Act II, they informed on Instagram and by email with a little more advance though
