@@OmarVedlity Last I heard he was only playing 4 hours a day. And I think this goes back to the end of the SF4 days. I don't think he plays like a madman the way he used to.
@@HanDaimond I would just say higher skill ceiling, because with skill Jamie is a monster as at 4 drinks his damage is above average and his combo game is good, you just need to fit in his drinks, as to why they added ways to get it after an attack.
@@guanabana7760 The fact that you have to do a lot more then say for example Ken Luke JP to be good says a lot tho. his kit makes him worse then the others if he normally played like he does at 4 drinks he would be great. Yes he is a higher skill ceiling type character but that's why he's considered low tier he requires to much work to be good.
@@guanabana7760 @asura5806 my opinion is if he had DJs or juri's drive rush he would be top tier i feel like drinks are not super difficult to squeeze in I just started playing jamie a week or so ago and am sitting at around d3-d4 range but he def needs way more work than any other character in the game but I feel like it kinda makes him more fun for casual play
He plays Jamie like a shoto lol. Very little drunken fist flare but quite fundamental. It's refreshing to watch. I think if he starts to add all the optimal Jamie mixups and punish game, he'll be quite deadly.
Jamie is so cool man. I really love this character. By the way, that outfit looks amazing. For those of us who are on Playstation and can't use mods, capcom I beg you to give us some cool outfits like that (without charging a years salary) I mean it's so simple but it's by far the coolest looking Jamie outfit to just go with the shirtless on top and black pants on bottom like bruce lee. With the pants rolled up a little bit to give it that Jamie vibe.
Loving this new main. Just cool too see these new characters used. Just wish Capcom would stop bringing back all the sf2 characters, they make up half the dang roster and everybody is so tired of them especially the next generations of players bro i want alex sean remy necro and new characters instead of gief guile dhalsim e Honda and all those tires ass characters. Instead of tired ass ken and ryu we should have got violent ken and ryu master of nothingness both with new looks and new move set, i mean come on Capcom.
I think next season will bring some more hype in the character department. There's gonna be at least one or two megaton fan favorites, probably one brand new one, and at least one obscure favorite. I'm pretty sure that was their plan. Save the more hype, fresh ones for later to bring people back, or bring more in.
Yet in the final of the SF league there was Fuudo Sako Bonchan Ryusei Tokido who are all 30-40+. Just give them a bit of time, the game is still new and favors scrubs who just adapt quickly, that's why you often see "nonames" win tournaments on the early days of a game then veterans take their place. And Daigo made it to top 8 EVO at the end of SFV btw.
Each time Jamie drinks alcohol, they should've made him look more like Wong Fei Hung and use Jet Li or Donnie Yen as a facial reference. Then in his final form, he IS Wong Fei Hung and should have added No-Shadow Kicks from Iron Monkey and Once Upon A Time In China 2 along with the tiger stance. Each time he attacks with the tiger stance, we should hear the sound of a roaring ferocious tiger and shadow effects of the tiger should come out of his fists. I also prefer a Chinese name for Jamie. It's more fitting for his ethnicity like Yun and Yang. I wouldn't mind seeing him using the 18 dragon subduing palms and have dragons come out of his fists, too. That would be so bad ass. Man, Capcom had so much potential in creating this character. If it were me, I would have went all out and tried to create the best character possible.
Thats not some Chinese kungfu legend of an Akuma they tried to create there, just a young street fighter using some DRUNKEN fist, and they got it greatly done.
