Usually when a super does less damage than expected is because it either buffs you or debuffs an opponent.

It dont mean she’s bad. All the characters are good. She’s just less good than others mainly because she’s limited compared to others and very specialist designed.

That's why people give Manon so much shit because at 5 medals her command grabs do 40-45% of your health in a single throw. And the medals stay between rounds meaning she doesn't gotta work for em again.

I agree it's a bad match-up for Aki, despite most claiming it's in her favor. Manon's buttons and neutral just completely outclass Aki, and any character without an invincible od reversal/faster lv1 suffer vs Manon. I think ppl assume zoners typically have an advantage vs grapplers but Aki's not really a true zoner as her fb has insane recovery.

The more I look at SF6 the more I think DR is a shit game mechanics as the distance they can cover goes to a stupid step and a half to an almost fuul screen. When you have characters behaving so differently on the core mechanics ... you messed up quite badly. But I can give Capcom the excuse of being quite new to the fighting game genre. How low did they go since SFIII or even SFIV, those were great games.
