As a Cammy main, it was cool to see my two favorite Cammy players dukeing it out. They are actually more similar than I thought. Both have an incredible neutral game.
1:08 This....this right here is my biggest problem with Cammy and should be the first thing that Capcom looks at to buffing her. Punk clearly was just using st.lk as a poke in neutral but unintentionally beats Kaz's dive kick. Like that's just ridiculous. All I want for Cammy is for her damn dive kick hurtboxes to be reduced, a slight dmg buff on her lvl2 (SF2 cinematic version) and her st.mp to be plus 1 on block.
@@nomainq8257 I don't think it is. Dive kicks getting beat unintentionally by almost every normal is silly and feels unintended on Capcom's part. She has one of the worst lvl2s in the game. The dmg scaling is too high during some of her combos, specifically the ones that start off with lights. I'm only asking for a slight dmg buff. I would also like a faster normal that's just plus 1 on block. Her st.mp has ok range but her cr.mp has even better range and is only 1 frame slower. St.mp isn't even cancellable either. Luke's cr.mp is cracked, 6f plus 1 and cancellable. I can't get a plus 1 st.mp for Cammy?
@@dumpsta-divrr365 St.mp has okay range but it's nowhere near has good as her cr.mp which is only 1 frame slower. Her st.mp isn't cancellable and at max range her furtherest light normal st.lk will whiff if she hits st.mp. Even on block max range her pressure pretty much ends there since she's -1.
@@digitalkid5623This is a bit of a stretch IMO. Moves that have a low profile/extended hitbox are the counter to dive kick. You can kinda just throw out dive kick in close range neutral and if they check for drive rush or dash or walk forward with jab or a standing move, Cammy gets punish counter and has a ton of corner carry and it's already hard to intentionally anti-air if you are applying a strong mental stack on the opponent. As someone who has both played her and plays against her, she feels balanced.
As the other guy said, none of these are actual first to 5 matches. It's ranked clips picked to make it a first to 5. Not all the time but sometimes games are opted out. It's for a cleaner video like this

Look inward, bro, because Kazunoko is one of the more unpredictable cammys at high level. No shit punk is going to win. He has the best ground game I'm sf6. All evidence points to punk being predictable, because you can accurately predict that hes going to be glued to the floor while begging you to press a button 90% of the match. Alright, let's say Kazu is a predictable player. Why do you think he places well in tournaments? What are your placings in comparison to Kazu's I'd say you've never got out of bracket in a single major. In short; you're terrible.
@FishChoTV I was gonna do a whole long ass detailed explanation. Comparing Kazu to Moke, Hikaru, Longzhu and even Kakeru's JP pre-amnesia nerf. But since there seems to be some Kazunoko glazers in the comments. I'll try to keep it brief. As someone who is not the biggest Punk or Cammy fan, I feel Punk is like the only Cammy main I get entertained by. It feels like I'm watching a Cammy player when Watching Punk, and I'm watching a Guile player when watching Kazunoko. And maybe predictable is the wrong word. Maybe methodical would be a better way to sugarcoat it. I think if I were to be deadass, it might just be fatigue from over-optimalization in generaland may truely have nothing to do with him as a player. Like it feels I know exactly what 3 things Kazu is going to try at any given moment. There are a bunch of things that add up. But I think it just boils down to predictability and seeing nothing new from him with this character.
