Machine, I SAID 2 GREEN ONIONS NOT ONE! Well, I guess this’ll do… Vegetable, I WILL CUT YOU. DOWN. SLICE YOU APART. MIX YOU’RE STRANGE FORM WITH THE STARS (complimenting his good food/cooking skills). I WILL GRIND YOU DOWN UNTIL THE VERY STEMS CRY FOR MERCY. MY HANDS SHALL RELISH, EATING YOU HERE. AND. NOW.
@@dragonkeeper226if that’s the case, would you be able to hear how he’s doing? Like, could you go up to him and listen to him get his ass THY END IS NOW’d by wave 50?
I like to believe that V1 wasn't actually intending to aim a gun at her like that, it's just how it looks at things. After all, when you look at things in-game you constantly aim at them.
Everyone's talking about the coin mechanic, but V1 ACTUALLY SLAM STORES HIS WAY OUT OF THE SCENE LIKE YOU DO IN-GAME. Such an awesome attention to detail.
And it's a available for free as a demo if you aren't sure about it. I can't buy it at the moment, but I've probably been playing OVERKILL more than I've played other games on average.
Fun fact the pixelated ps2 graphics are justified by lore as the sniper enemies actually have lore stating they took all the 12k camera and other robots got the shitty low definition cameras
I love that V1 dows the slam storage jump trick at 0:16. It's literally just 1 second but the fact that the animator _still_ animated that is absolutely beautiful 😔🤌
The attention to detail on this is godly holy crap. Not only is V1 storing the onion in its wing, as it canonically does with its guns, but _that slam storage jump animated like it was a real thing oh my god_
Complete with the yellow streaks that appear in-game, and even the little delay between landing on the ground and launching upwards if you don't time the jump perfectly. You can tell this guy has not only played Ultrakill, but really liked it enough to get every single detail right.
@@rhyderleming5851 in game yes, since we see through its eyes, but in the animation the guy used a more “realistic??” model, since we are seeing the gopro from an out side perspective
one thing i adore is when the difference between mechanisms/robots and organisms is portrayed well in animation when v1 tosses the coin, he remains completely static until he makes his next move miku, even when standing still, is never static and always has even the _slightest_ bit of movement somewhere it sounds like common sense but man do i love little details like that
@@ruiikasvocaloids are androids. Miku is a vocaloid. The difference between V1 and Miku is that Miku is made to resemble humans, while V1 is the perfect antithesis to god (At least from what I can gather from in-game lore)
@@KryptoKn8 V1 was made to kill, kill everything, and do nothing but kill V1 canonically has had cut corners in every aspect of it's creation to fully optimize it's killing potential
@@SomeGuyWithABlueMask Even better, the coins are _made_ of blood. The nails for the nail gun and the coins are both made from the iron in V1's surroundings, almost all of which is from blood
I love the speed slide, and how it works It's said "V1 is constantly propelled forward while sliding" which is neat (inf slide) but I also really love the sound design
@CamerAnime That's true, that's true. Not to mention how many times she's died, was wiped off the face of the earth, danced in a fire, and has gone insane. You know what I'm realizing now that a gun was the least of her problems.
hello, i would like you all to know that this video was sent to me by my lifelong best friend, who is a diehard fan of ultrakill. i am certified vocaloid lover, and this video is not only brilliantly animated and composed, but perfectly represents our friendship and brought us both together. thank you ❤
The HUD section is so amazing, and also means that there was a lot more work put into the 3d environment than usual animations, since there'd have to be a left side. All for 1 second of the video he made another side to the map, what a chad.
Fun fact: the coins are actual currency in the Ultrakill universe. You can give the Ferryman in 5-2 a coin to exit the level without fighting him. It's also a good strat in the escape Jakito challenge (I don't think that exists yet but it's a funny run to do to see how fast you can go and escape your game exploding)
@MageBurger that too but Ferryman is essentially definite confirmation that coins are in fact legal tender, though whether this means that we've been making counterfeit money that's accepted says a lot about the trout population
What if it’s not infinite coins and he’s just stealing the wallets of anyone he melees? The recharge timer is just him sorting through which stolen wallets still have coins to use.
>Be me, charming vocaloid on my way back from the store >Machine comes sliding down the road ahead, steals my green onion at gun point and then pays me >Proceeds to slam storage away >Audibly gloat about what a bargain you got
@@liz_violetslam storage. Basically if you ground slam and jump immediately you go higher, but if you wall jump and slam at the same time, the game will treat your time jumping as you falling, so when you touch the ground and jump you'll go flying
"machine, i am going to break you ap... a green onion ? For me ? Well that s kind of you machine i didn t expect that i thought we were gonna find and everything... well thank you i guess"
You even animated the ingame mechanic! I love this so much, everything is smooth as hell and the joke itself is great. This is truly a blessing, thank you
I like to imagine that V1 needed that green onion to pull some bullshit technique in a battle and he didn't wanted to go all the way to the supermarket to buy a single piece of green onion, so he proceeded to do an Steal-Buy to Miku
There is too much to love about this. I mean seriously, it's got it all: Mirabeau's signature buttery smooth animations, the hud, the game accurate sound design including weapon swaps, the onion storage, the slam storage, the gorgeous borderlands style shading and outline on V2's model, and even crashing and burning while trying to get that P-rank.
@@communistcrusader4117 cell shading covers a broad spectrum of style. Both Wind Waker and Breath of the Wild use cell shading, but both do it very differently. In this case, the thickness of the outlines and the inky brightness of the colors specifically reminds of borderlands.
V2 on a whole ass character development and training arc after fucking off and leaving his arm, dude’s probably met Virgil and default Jonesy from fortnite by now, can’t wait to see him committing vehicular manslaughter In Mario cart
@Lloyd Alvarez Gabriel: "MACHINE! Can't you see I'm busy with my Bible study? I don't have time to be bothered with you!" Doomguy, looks over to Jeanne, shrugs. Jeanne: "Oh, come on, Gabe, he's fine to stay." Gabriel: "This... nachine, is nothing but a nuisance! It has been driving me mad about buttplug compatibility and what not for months on end!" V1: "You. Just. Have. Daddy. Issues. That's. Why. You're. upset." Gabriel: *"OH THAT'S IT! I HAVE HAD ENOUGH MACHINE! I DO NOT HAVE DADDY ISSUES!"* Doomguy, confused as the angel proceeds to run into the creature of steel's bait, then looks back to Jeanne. Jeanne: "V1 is a bit of a troll... although I am unsure whether or not they're Christian... on the account of the whole "I'm a robot!" Thing he's got going on." Doomguy, nods before returning to praying, all the while one could hear a hate filled angel trying to murderize a creature of steel.
I feel like V1 is just so used to absolute violence and carnage that even a mundane action like acquiring a green onion could only end with a gun in someone’s face and a bang of some kind... hence letting itself crash into the roof of the building cause it isn’t used to aiming a gun and not hearing a bang shortly after
V1 stores his weapons in his wings. The green onion is in his wing. Not only is this great attention to detain but it implies that the green onion is a weapon.
I mean, she likes shopping so now she has money to go shopping again. Also, your attention to detail for all the really small subtle stuff is top notch as always.
My man here is so godly at animating that he could probably match an experienced professional at this point. ...And he's using his talents to make shitposts about video games, anime, and his OCs instead. Godspeed, you magnificent bastard.
I don't know why he hasn't mentioned it on this channel, but he (along with many other YT animators) did work on a music video for the band Battle Tapes fairly recently--look up "In Too Deep."
I saw this on twitter (unfortunately without credits) and I thought "HOLY SHIT THIS ANIMATION IS SO GOOD AND SMOOTH" and now I see where it came from and I find more than obvious the level of quality this has
I did not expect V1 from ultrakill to cameo in a dropkick video on this channel, but at the same time this is totally something I should've expected Also nice slam storage lmao
I wonder what Miku’s reaction to the coin being made from blood would be. For those unaware Hakita (one of the main ultrakill devs) confirmed it in steam discussion boards. I’m pretty sure it was also mentioned in the marksman terminal entry, but I forgor.
If the demons he kills have low iron in their blood will v1 go broke? And since v1 uses coins (moneh) to kill demons does that mean Ultrakill is p2w? @nobleradical2158
1st, we got a Fate x DOOM X Halo x Grinch crossover. then, a Xenoblade x Tekken one. Now, a Hatsune Miku X Ultrakill. You never cease to suprise me dude. Amazing job, as always
not the crossover i was expecting, but everything, from the inclusion of game mechanics to the smoothness and fluidity of the animation, was really great to see. nice job!
I love how when i first watched this i hadnt actually played ultrakill yet so i didnt know why v1 walljumped. Now i know it was a slam storage jump and it actually made me scream like an idiot
Mira, I found you through this video, watched all of your other content, loved every minute of it, and have now come back. the slam storage, the organic vs mechanical movement, the weapon details, the onion in the wing, the fall afterwards, it's all so detailed and high quality. I'm a huge ultrakill fan and now a huge fan of your work. I can't even imagine what it would be like if you included ultrakill characters with the rest of your cast, my brain is too small. You have to make more. I will die if you do not.
I can't stop rewatching because of how well made it is, and the ending is just straight up hilarious, all is good and cute, then V1 simply crashed and explode in the background, glorious. 😂
Seeing V1 appear with the Pump Shotgun but pulls out the pistol out of nowhere is kind of jarring, until you realise that during the 'Wh-what?' voice, there's the weapon swap sounds. The attention to detail... Bravo!
This animation is P ranked + ULTRAKILL + Mauriced The animations are so fluid and beautiful, the details are spot on even weapon switching which is rare to see so much attention to detail like this
This is why I subbed to this channel. To take innocent memes and clips, and somehow blow them out of proportion in one way or another. Once again, well done Mirabeau.
this channel has to be the best SFM animator I have ever seen, they don't overuse the SFM tools, and it totally looks like it was animated in any other 3D software, very nicely done!
