Actually, that was true of the first video but this one uses the normal tf141 assault body. Ghost uses the same base but there a small differences, like Roach's back pouch that Ghost doesn't have.

They are still different, Ghost looks exactly how he did in Loose Ends and Roach has his same body except he actually has a head. In MW2 if you go into freecam and look at Roach he doesn’t have a head. If he did the camera wouldn’t work. So because you never see it they just don’t even have it. We play as Roach in a couple spec ops missions, so if you’re playing co-op you’ll know what Roach looks like. (Same as he did in this scene) Ghost and Roach don’t have the same body. Ghost has his kneepad on his right knee, his gun holster, and a couple other small differences.

Theoretically, they can reach the evacuation point. While they are there, they begin to tame Ghost and Roach, but they die from mortars and Makarov's soldiers. Some believe it is their canonical death. If they had survived, they would have been killed by the Shadow Company, just like Archer and Toad.

If shadow company wasn't aware of toad and archer presence they could have saved roach and ghost

If shepherd was fast enough he could've been able to gun all four of them down. Or thos two shadow company soldiers would've just shot Ozone and Scarecrow down ir just stabbed or knocked them out. And threw them in the hoke with Ghost and Roach.

In the remaster he grabs Shepherd's hand as he takes the DSM, then the screen fades black but as the soldier pour petrol on you - you can look around a small bit. So maybe?

Not only just a fellow soldier, maybe even his best bud, when Captain Price says there's fifty fifty chance, Ghost was immediately like, "I'm Taking Roach with me, Capt Price, You can have Mactalvish." And I remember reading from somewhere, I think it was Soap's Journal, That Ghost was really fond of Roach.
