Three things: 1) why would you do cr.lk after a jump mk? 2) after jump hk you should walk a bit before doing s.mp 3) after CC hk at max range you can dash forward s.mp xx whatever you like.
Cr.lk after a jump in catches opponents walking back to avoid a throw or to clip people who stay blocking high after blocking a cross up. It wasn’t intended for optimal damage, just showing you options to catch ur opponent.
Scrub here. It's only a couple of days in but I'm having problems adjusting to Lucia. Going from s.mp to c.hp I feel is a tighter window to start her BNB combos than most characters. Even though s.mp is +7 on hit, I feel like I'm going against all my timing instincts to get c.hp out in time for the followup because of it's slower startup. Makes it harder to confirm as well without doing an unsafe flowchart c.hp, that's -6 on block. Anybody else have this issue? Any tips to adjust faster?
Honestly once that standing MP ("Strong Punch" if you're old like me) connects, I'm already holding down and hit HP (Fierce Punch) twice and go from there. Works every time for me. Plus I'm used to going from standing MP to crouching fierce from playing Ed. I know the way I do it has and extra input, but holding down and hitting twice hasn't failed me.
AdversaryOne just keep practicing...and learn from your mistakes Day one I was dropping my combos Day 5 I’m getting them consistently now P.S. average bout 1hr 30 mins a day
Awesome, I gonna start using her EX fireball more in the corner that shit is insane.....but PLZ next time, keep Lucia in English, I miss her NJ accent.
