Just dropping a line and saying this video is still genius. Watched it when it debuted and I just love the creativity. Would love to see a remaster or a potential sequel.

This is easily one of the 5 best 2D fighting game video ever. You did an amazing job, and this deserves much more views... At least I watch it minimum once per month , it refills my happiness jauge.

I love how when the two Roses reflect against each other, the fireball gets so fast that it finally flies off the screen in a split second at the end.

Both combo choreography and video visual/audio chreography were both superb. I never thought a video of this sort would be aesthetically pleasing to both the eyes and the ears. Oh the visuals fit the music so well. This might be better than any combo video I have seen in my life.

@AngrySilencer Thank you sir. Cyclops and Sentinel are both suki-canceling in tandem throughout that clip. That means superjump-canceling their normal attacks and then block-canceling the startup of the jump to remain on the ground. Btw i've added a link to the transcript that explains all of the advanced stuff in the entire video. You can find it in the description box above.

There'll be explanations posted on Sonic Hurricane soonish, after everyone gets back from Evo. But i just want to say that i contributed less than 10% of the clips in this video. It was a big collaborative effort so please don't credit me for the whole thing. I'm just happy it got made, and finished on time for Evo2k10.

I saw a DBFZ video that had the end song in it and I couldn’t for the life of me remember where I saw it in. I randomly remembered the sound cues from this video during parts of that song that reminded me of this titles name. Fighting games are crazy

@dryzen that would be awesome man. but u know today i got a 11 winning streak with adon. adon just rules hes one of my favorite fighters. the thing is alot of people didnt really like adon until gamerbee just prove to the world that adon is not a joke character. i also want to go to evo so i can go against these pros but their having it at japan i belive next year but ill be good then doing other tournaments but hopefully after that evo their will be another in california

Man.... This is one of the best fighting game videos I've seen in a looooooong time. But man... how the fuck does Cyclops shoot so many projectiles (the XCOTA battle at 0:56)? I'm still trying to find out how it works.

@xenophobian it came down to whatever games people could think of for setups, and I guess we didn't really have enough GG players. that series definitely has some interesting possibilities though.

@DaRkXyStEr Touhou is in there. And a lot of the clips were just cancels with other fireballs. Just a few clips would have made me happy. They somehow fit tekken ball in there...

aw that was fucking cool. Do another one and add blazblue, guilty gear, tatsunoko vs capcom, and super smash, cause mario can shoot a fire ball and thats kinda like a haduken

@Quackbillion Soul Calibur II had Link with his boomerang, bombs, and Bow&arrow SCIII gave Cervantes move that uses the gun part of his smaller sword. And it had it had that create a character thing which I remember one class getting something like Link's bombs. And I'm sure SCIV has something projectile like. VF I think is the only notable fighter without projectiles.

The more I think about it the more wrong it feels that Guilty Gear was left out/forgotten totally. There's so many things I can imagine being done with Venom's balls (pun kinda intended), FRC'd projectiles and Potemkin's/Eddie's reflect moves etc. If I had the resources I would make a video response to this with GG-clips only.

Can someone please list down the games following the chronological order for this video? I could only recognise some, but not all of them. By the way, mad props to the dudes who did this. Especially the parries in Third Strike and SVC Vs. Capcom 2.

@ShinyMawile Not a lot you cant do with the projectiles in those games, other than cancel em out with Hakumen's sword. Same with there being no KOF 12 and Touhou project, which seems like it'd be there if you saw it, but dashing negates them anywaya

@Xanoz It's actually not THAT hard. To do specials in SF1 consistently, you have to hold the button down first, do the motion, then release the button (Example: Hadouken = Hold P, QCF, release P). Not many people know that

bullet hell dodonpachi music is more than fitting for this vid. great choice. i look forward to next years video hopefully being equally badass. and i say equally because nothing is better than stomping out a power geyser.

cyclops and senitel projectile battle was the best my opinion, i always thought cyclop's laser was like an instant 6 hit but it was 6 different lasers shot real close

@mature942 A lot of times when I played a skilled Guile they constantly crouch. So I usually fake them out with a Jaguar Tooth until I can get close enough to grab.
